Dying from being hungry for just 1 night is kinda ridiculous 😭

I'm so confused. I was doing the whiteout challenge, 3rd attempt. Got to somewhere like day 12 or so. I think my health bar was maybe like 50-60% tbf but otherwise I was fine, had no medical issues and my hunger and thirst were like 25% full. Went to sleep for 10 hours and DIED!

How is that realistic? People can survive so long without food 😭 I get it's a game but also usually I don't die from that as I often go to bed hungry. Is this just a thing in the game where if your health bar is on the lower side and you put the hours to sleep for too long you just die? Cause I've always been cautious of that but never had this happen unless I actually had a medical issue.

Where is everyone from in here?

Just curious. I'm from the UK. Being vegan & gluten free here is pretty easy compared to other places I imagine, but still has it struggles ofc

Went to play this game to relax, forgot how anxiety inducing it is

As the title says, wanted a nice relaxing weekend as I had a stressful week at work. Haven't played his game in over half a year, I forgot how damn anxiety inducing it can be sometimes lmao. Had to have breaks to let myself actually relax 😂

PLEASE don't have a relationship with someone who wants kids

Okay, I know most of you in here are gonna be like "duh"

But as someone who has never liked the idea of having kids, I still ended up in 2-3 year long relationships with men who did. They would tell me if I didn't want them they could live without and I would say I really don't think you could. But as we fell in love we were both as stupid as each other and stayed together.

Thankfully those relationships ended for other reasons anyway, which I see as a positive now as if I really wanted to be with them for life that would have been terrible in another 10-20 years.

Now I've been with a guy who doesn't want kids now for the past 1.5 year, and OH MY GOD. I feel like such an idiot for being with men who did before and I wish I hadn't been so dumb. At the end of the day we all make mistakes in relationships and it's part of life, but god if I'd of known how much better it is to be with someone who feels the same way as you.

I feel like I thought I'd never meet someone who did so maybe that's why I just accepted it. And I did let myself sometimes like the idea of having kids and think maybe I could do it. And it pisses me off I let someone else sway me that way when it's quite literally not what I want at all. Now I get to just enjoy NOT wanting them and feel completely confident & happy in that decision.

Why are fast food vegan options getting shitter in the UK? :(

Burger king nuggets & that cheese & bacon royale gone, Subway chicken, meatballs & steak subs gone, Mcdonald's veggie dippers gone, several different bakes from Greggs gone, etc.

It's just so sad 😭 I remember when these all existed I only had lots of hope of new items coming on their menus. Now I just fear them taking off what we have left!

Thought veganism was rising? :(

UK gf vegans - these are amazing!

Been looking for some kind of easy throw in the oven dinner that's not just sausages for ages. Finally found these at Iceland! The first one is AMAZING. The second pic they're not quite as good imo but I still like them and very much satisfy the desire for chicken nuggets lol.

Anyone else find in their late 20s they are not caring about body hair as much?

I still care a bit but not as much as when I was a teen/early 20s. Recently I have just stopped giving a fuck about my leg hair being visible sometimes. Like if it's summer and I wanna wear shorts but I haven't shaved in a week or 2 I'm still gonna wear them. That would've been way too humilating to me when I was a teenager or even just a few years ago (I'm 27 now).

Now it's just like, why should I waste my time stressing over making sure my legs are perfectly shaved just cuz I wanna put some shorts cuz it's hot?

Sadly I'm not fully fully out of it yet, I do still shave my legs/private areas every 1-2 weeks. BUT I do care less about how it looks now when it isn't in the "just shaved" phase. Like I would not stress about having a random hook up with a guy if I was 1 week post shave now. Whereas that would've been terrifying & unthinkable to me in the past.

Makes me sad that I ever cared that much.

If you're a girl in her teens/early 20s and you're not that bothered by this thing I'm genuinely so happy for you.

Concealer in the UK?

I was using Rimmel match perfection which used to be in Boots a couple years ago and one day left stores and was only available online. Been buying it online for probably over a year and now it's suddenly completely unavailable :(

Bought Nyx can't stop won't stop and tried it for the first time today and it's AWFUL. The colour is fine but it's really dry and doesn't blend. Like as soon as you dab it onto the skin it starts drying up as you pat it in. It's also not as high of coverage as the Rimmel one.

It's such a struggle to find another one though, only other one I can see is Elf flawless brightening concealer but I worry about the quality of that one too.

I don't mind if I have to order it online but just need something as good as the Rimmel as I use it on my entire face like foundation. The Rimmel one was quite thick/full coverage and blended into the face a lot better + was hydrating

What are your favourite shop foods in the UK?

Looking for more "alternative" options (rather than lentils, vegetables, etc) at supermarkets so would love to hear some suggestions.

Some of my favs are the This Isn't chicken wings, Bouja Bouja salted caramel chocolate ice cream & recently the Planted paprika steaks 😁
