EDIT: 6/10***, curse my fingers!!!!

Back to work today and it actually came across wet and rainy today, I almost forgot what rain looked like 🤣.

To celebrate the cool and wet weather I put on one million lucky, I find it to be one of the most appropriately sweet fragrances and it is perfect for this type of weather, just hoping the heat doesn’t start rearing its head because I put on 7 sprays 😭

This scent rocks, not as strong as I would like, wanderlust by omanluxury does a long lasting green fig scent better but this one has a creaminess and sweetness which is sublime, really like this and Orphéon from Diptyque!!

I started out the say with an Osmanthus overload, smells so good every damn time I wear it, what an amazing pick up!!

Now at home I have taken the advice from some of you (you know who you are LoL) and picked up a bottle of Drakkar Bleu, wearing it as I type this and god this is SO GOOD!! I actually cannot believe that DN is in the same line as this, but then again, Guy Laroche has made some bangers so this is also very on brand.

I will have to tell my dad about this one, he is a big Drakkar Noire fan and I am sure he would love this.

I had an airheaded moment this morning and forgot to put anything on, luckily I have a bottle of Wood Neroli in my glovebox ready to go, and boy I am no longer upset at forgetting to put anything on, this is still excellent!!

I am glad I have 2 bottles as I have already put a dent in this one and it’s not even been 2 weeks 🤣🤣

G'day guys, today, in my infinite wisdom have decided to test 7 Creed Aventus / Aventus Absolu (and Nishane Hacivat) clones. Now, I did this blindfolded so I could try and find the least bias opinions, I also tried to guess which one I was smelling and I also gave them each a score.

The scores I gave are only relative to the 7 clones I tried and don't correlate to which one smells the closest to what they're cloning, just purely based on it itself.

Here we go, in order from worst to best;

Club De Nuit Intense Man EDT (5.6/10) (Guessed correctly);

This one was easy to guess, even blindfolded, it is the only one in this lineup which has that nasty, harsh lemon, easily the worst one out of all of them.

Montblanc Explorer (6.9/10) (Guessed correctly);

I can pick out the vetiver and pink pepper in this one pretty easily, one of the least sweet out of the 7, much woodier than most as well.

Club De Nuit Intense Man Extrait (7.1/10) (Guessed Correctly);

Less lemon cleaner than the OG, more amber sweetness with the citrus coming across more like an essential oil rather than something synthetic, also one of the less sweet of the bunch.

Afnan Supremecy Collectors Edition (8/10) (Guessed Mykonos Inferno);

I guessed mykonos for this one because it is the one I have owned for the least amount of time and when I smelled it I almost couldn't recognise what it was, turns out it was CE, this along with the remaining 3 are all much more similar to one another than any of them are to the previous 3 and which is why I got most of them wrong.

CE is much sweeter than the previous 3, and has less of that sharp citrus, much more of a syrupy sweet pineapple with some birch.

Nitro Platinum (8.3/10) (Guessed Afnan SCE);

This is really really similar to CE with the only real difference being that the sweetness is more fresh rather than syrupy/amberous, with the pineapple being much more prominent.

Mykonos Inferno (8.5/10) (Guessed Dumont Nitro Platinum);

Literally the same thing again, just a smoother blend and a bit more body/density in the mid/dry down, which makes it feel more 'complete', guessed Nitro Platinum for this because it has fresh pineapple just like it does, honestly almost identical.

9pm Rebel (8.9/10) (Guessed Correctly);

I knew what this was as soon as I smelled it and it was the first of the 7 I smelled; you get the Aventus DNA in there for sure but that addition of the amped up 9pm bubblegum DNA plus heaps of pineapple just makes this seriously divine, one of my favourite clones going in to this test so glad so see it came out on top.

Sorry guys for the double post but I just had to share my experience with this one because I have to be honest, G&B has absolutely smashed it out of the park with this one.

I got this one from sephora after hearing alot of good thing about it, ended up only purchasing a 10ml for now but I can see myself buying a full bottle in the future for sure, especially if I finish this quickly.

Dark peach opens with a noticeable booze to it, nothing too alcoholic or too harsh but it is there and gives an amazing texture to the fragrance. The berry is there in the opening but what really stands out is the ginger and peach.

Now it’s a bit hard to picture but this fragrance somehow manages to have a nice fizzy peach and ginger allure when smelled from far but as you get closer the amber and syrupy booze and vanilla become dominant, it truely is a spectacle to smell.

I haven’t had a chance to wear it enough to give many comments about longevity or projection but from what I can tell so far and compared to other G&B scents (pacific rock moss, bohemian lime) it is noticeably thicker and more powerful in the diffusion, so I would say it will be a full-day type of performing scent.

Go into sephora if you can and try this one out, it is beautiful and may very well be my new favourite Australian Creation.

I am wearing a beautiful combination of Wood Neroli and Fougere L’aube today.

I absolutely loved wearing wood neroli yesterday and was thinking that layering it with a nice sweet fougere would probably be excellent, so am giving it a go today, it is absolutely lovely, the oakmoss, neroli and cypriol are absolutely beautiful together!!

Wearing one of my favourites today, love it so much I picked up another bottle over the weekend for $80, really love the darker vanilla and ginger combo, gives you something a bit different to the usual vanilla bombs.

I decided to go spicy today and put on my favourite Boss scent, it has been really interesting to see just how well the chilli in this one really does come across, it’s beautiful and accurate whilst also still being tasteful and delicious, I need more chilli in fragrance, my mouth nears watering when I smell this one:

I am wearing my newest gissah today, gave the whole lineup a resmell in store and as soon as I got a whiff of this one it stood out, such a lovely and soft sweetness of caramelised peach with a creamy floral undertone, the employee also agreed.

Not sure why the rating is so low, but judging by the votes it looks to be manipulated in some way, glad as always I pay little attention to the scores on fragnatica.

Finally managed to find a bottle of this at CW (they don’t even have it listed on their site, only the gift set 🙄) and had to get a bottle, no testers but I had faith in Mr Bisch, he has rarely disappointed me.

Totally worth the purchase!!!! Holy moly, this is an excellent scent, if I could sum it up in just one word it would definitely be ‘refreshing’.

This is the most stable and smooth marine scents I have smelled and as a lover of marine saltiness I am fully content.

On the opening you get a strong dose of Seasalt and Vetiver, which have been perfectly dosed which results in a salty, yet clean, fresh and bright opening which perfectly encapsulates walking onto a beach on a perfect summers day and smelling the aroma of the waves crashing onto shore.

As it dries the woody aspect makes headway and provides that strength in the formulation to keep the scent lasting longer whilst not compromising on the vision behind the scent, the oakmoss also is there providing the same utility while also providing the sweetness which compliments the salty aspects just enough to fit perfectly.

I will update on longevity and projection after some wears but so far it’s nothing “beast mode” but it is lasting for a considerable amount of time.

This is the fragrance that filled the itch that sensual Vetiver by mancera was supposed to, far too astringent for me and will definitely be getting retired from my collection.

8.8/10 for me, almost could be the office scent for life.

Wearing the last of my hummingbird decant today, been a lovely time with this one, will probably keep an eye on it to see if it goes on sale, definitely will be considering buying a full bottle, such a delicate but impressive scent :)

Another week in paradise my friends!!!

Wearing my newest addition, SWY Absolutely today. I was initially going to just keep this one on the back burner as I already have a number of the flankers but I saw it on sale and just couldn’t resist the booziness, so I bought a small bottle.

Love this flanker, love the booziness and vanilla combination, definitely do get the TMW Parfum comparisons but this feels alot warmer and sweeter to me.

My Gurlain should be arriving today, so excited!!

I'm wearing Il Padrino today, and holy moley is this amazing. Now I really enjoy boozy notes, the closest thing I will get to booze nowadays, and this fragrance just showers you in boozy Amaretto right out of the gate, so for that, I absolutely love it.

I wholeheartedly prefer this to Initio side effect, which may be an unpopular opinion, but I can't help it, the syrupy blackcurrant/almond boozyiness is just elegant as fuck (pardon the Australian).

Good Morning Everyone, hope you all are well!

Wearing one of my samples today, Zoologist - Koala, first smelled it last night and really liked the composition, was perfect for the weather today!

Really love the camphorous opening from the pine and eucalyptus, supported by the spices to give a really mellow but persistent aroma of calm and warmth, it definitely wasn’t overdone and doesn’t come close to the intensity of vicks which people on fragnatica seem to say it does.

Definitely can also smell the underlying geranium and Vetiver greenness underneath as the fragrance sits longer on skin, all around a very nice release.

Also smelled Elephant last night, a bit too much of a white floral bomb for my liking but would definitely make a nice option for those who do like it.
