How to turn off Apple Games banners

Every time I open a game I like to play I get a series of banners at the top of the screen from Apple Games telling me I’m signed in as [username] and what my stats are for that game (which I don’t care about).

These banners block an important part of the game board so it’s very annoying have to sit there and wait until they disappear. Tapping on the banners and exploring the menus, there is no option to turn them off, and apparently I don’t even have the app installed.

How do I turn this annoying thing off?

No bars, no service

Cant call tech support because i’m the only one home until late tonight. 700th in their chat queue.

Tried resetting network connections, and powering off and on.

Service plan shows active on their website, only half way through the month.

Tried texting 611-611 but texts dont go through.

This is weird, usually even when my service ends I can still text over wi-fi but not today.

What else can I try?

Car shutting off while driving

99 civic with 170k miles, automatic transmission. Had it about a year. It used to shut off once every 3-4 months, always while going <20mph, usually while coasting up to a stop sign. I could pop it in neutral while still rolling and it would start back up like nothing happened.

Changed fuel pump back in March because it was also having intermittent starting issues and this seems the most likely culprit. That issue went away for a couple months then slowly started up again. Now it’s common for it to not be able to start unless I give it a little extra gas in the mornings and sometimes at random times throughout the day.

But what really has me worried is yesterday it shut off twice going 35 and 55mph, then took 10 minutes to come on and stay on. In the interim it would crank and sometimes start for a second before immediately shutting off and all lights going out. Utterly terrifying. I was very lucky it happened where I could safely pull over.

Could it be we got a bad fuel pump in March and swapping it out will fix both issues? Or is something else likely to be going on?

where can i see my data usage on straighttalk’s website?

have an iphone the phone itself it only shows data used for “the current period” but it does not give dates or description of what “current period”means. it doesn’t reset when i run out and have to buy a data add on. the usage it’s showing doesnt make sense with what straight talk is claiming.

anyone have the most recent vinyl sales chart?

i’d be happy to pay for a one month subscription to billboard but their model of charging for an entire year takes the option off the table entirely.

consistently 20 cents sharp

and it sounds right to me in the moment. when i try to lower it slightly to hit the pitch i end up going 20 cents flat.

this is using an app with live feedback, just trying to match one note at a time.

how to fix? i know sharp singing is usually too much air or too much tension, so ive made sure im not doing that. i think this is really a hearing/perception problem. im either hearing the note wrong or hearing myself wrong.

if anyone knows of an app where i can play a note 10, 20 cents off, i think being able to toggle and hear the difference would help, but i cant find anything like that.

Simple pitch matching app that lets you play the note?

I used to have the most helpful little app where it would play a note, then have you match it, with a visual display showing the cents and how far off you were. You could tap to play the note as many times as you wanted while trying to match. This was a few years ago and I don’t remember what it was called (thought it was “sing the note” but cant find anything with that name today). I installed all the top pitch/vocal monitor/singing apps on both android and ios and cant find it. Pretty sure it was free.

Anyone know what this might have been or have a rec for something similar?
