Absolutely insane. I live on institute, closer to hillside community center. A giant group of younger people were just outside revving their engines and acting a fool in front of the residences here. Screaming. I’m talking upwards of 10, maybe even 15 cars? Then there was noise and commotion, and everybody peeled off. I’m not here to police people and I don’t believe in calling them either but my god, are there not places to hang out that aren’t directly in front of houses where people are sleeping? I turned on my porch light and that seemed to do nothing. I didn’t escape it to really but it is a flood light so I thought that might be annoying to them? I’m not going out in my pajamas as a woman to confront them.
Though I was only a patient for 3 or 4 visits- Dr.Frock was the only doctor in my team that I liked! I’m just acronyms in a trench coat so I have specialists etc and the only thing they seem to be good at is gaslighting and needing more blood. Dr.Frock has been kind to me since the first day I became her patient. I was admittedly snippy with the nurse(?)who came in to ask questions before the doctor. Like I mentioned, I have a decent amount of medical trauma. I don’t like repeating myself. Dr.Frock understood.
I’ve since been informed that she left the practice. Anybody have leads on where she landed? I just want to remain a patient

Something that really bothers me is people who just get dogs and then let them have free access to their yard. Particularly if that dog is reactive/ extremely vocal. First of all as somebody who has lived near dogs like this, your neighbors hate you. Especially if they carry on at all hours of the night. It’s 11:30pm right now and one of my neighbors SEVERAL HOUSES AWAY has a hound with a booming bark that is just sounding the alarm, right now. If it’s loud and annoying for me, I’m sure the people living in closer proximity are even more bothered. When I lived next to such dogs, yes I tried talking to my neighbors. It never made a difference.
I’m a responsible dog owner who actually takes my dogs on walks. It’s a rare walk that at least one dog doesn’t charge a fence and scream their head off, as we’re walking by. I’ve done training with my dog so she doesn’t react in return but man, does that not get annoying for yall? I’ve seen the owners of these dogs just watch this and do literally nothing. And before anybody tries it, I’m very disabled. I have limited amounts of energy due to several autoimmune disease. But I chose to have a dog and I budget my energy around making sure her needs are met.
I’m assuming most of these dogs either live outside or have constant access via dog doors and the like. I have a fenced in front and back yard. I still let my dog outside, and supervise. First of all because we have a sidewalk in front of our house and people have thrown chicken bones etc into it and my dog will eat things she’s not meant to. There are a ton of outdoor cats in this neighborhood (don’t get me started) and they like to shit in our yard. I don’t want me dog eating something and getting sick. I also like to know when the last time my dog went to the bathroom is. I like to know if she has an upset stomach.
Before “you need to know every time she shits?” comments- I’ll also add that I actually clean my yard once a week minimum because I don’t want my dog stepping in shit and the flies get really bad. It’s easier to know generally what areas she goes to the bathroom in. But I know people also rarely if ever clean their yards which is also disgusting.
It’s baffling to me that Yard Dogs ™ are so popular, for these and probably some reasons I’m not even mentioning.
I know this post will bring out the people with yard dogs. In my experience, a hit dog will holler ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I posted the oats yesterday but didn’t stop to count until today. The cigarettes are bubble ciggs and as a non smoker, I’ve always wanted them! Wet cause I washed them, obvi. Also not pictured is an iPhone mini, a brand new tarot deck with carrying case.
So the back story here is that the tapestry in the first photo was bought at an estate sale about 3 years ago. The one in the second, just acquired last weekend. When I was discussing these with a friend of the person who owns the home, he said the one on the right is from “over seas somewhere” so I’m just wondering if anybody had any insight? Regardless, I’m super stoked to own both of these 😭
