'07 4.7 2WD Solenoid Pack A

Got the Solenoid Pack A CEL. Ordered a "decent" looking kit off Amazon to have it ready when I got a day off. The drain pan filter was wrong, I'm going to guess it was for a full size truck, it allows for a deeper transmission pan. Alarm bells. Compared the solenoid packs, nothing I could tell of them being different. Swapped everything out. Got the pan all bolted up, went to connect the big connector. Couldn't pull it down tight to lock the tab in place. Took it apart, Compared the old and new. Nothing I could see. Put the valve body with the Solenoid Pack A attached in place, but loose. It looked like it was set properly. Torqued the valve body in place, then tried to lock in the harness in.place. SNAP. One of the ears on the brand new Solenoid Pack A broke off. 🤬🤬🤬 Eff it. Threw the old one back in, got everything bolted up, then snapped the harness right into place. Threw fluid in, then went to start it. Nothing. Key turn, all lights come on. Hooked up my OBD2 reader, says that it can't connect. All wires on starter are there. Mostly just griping about the first part. At a loss on why it's not connecting up, and not cranking. Any ideas.

So, another 2010 Jeep Wrangler 4cyl 4x4 question.

Does the brake system need to be bled with some computerized machine with it having ABS? I don't mess with new cars, all 5 of mine are older than '97. My 97 is all hi-tech with power windows and doorlocks. Lol. One of the guys I wheel with said he had to have his Jeep bled at the dealership because they couldn't get the air out of the system because of the ABS module. Haven't had an issue with cars where I've changed out calipers doing that but it's a Jeep, and it's a 1,000 miles away. So trying to figure this out for someone via the phone. I think I'd druther bang my head on a wall.🤦

Can the ABS system be removed.

A friend has a 2010 Jeep Wrangler, with a 4 cylinder. The ABS Module and pump went out. They installed rebuilt module and a new pump. The original code went away, and another code came up, a programming code. She's done with dropping money into this. Can you just remove all that ABS crap and go old school with a master cylinder with lines directly to the 4 corners. And keep the ABS light off because you can't have any lights on the dash gor State Inspection where she lives.

So what are people doing for cleaning dishes and such?

So how do you clean your dishes and pots after cooking? I usually boil water in my not-a-skottle, then wipe it down with hydrogen peroxide. Same for my pots. Wash the utensils in the pots then. Then wipe them dry, then spray with hydrogen peroxide. Haven't died yet, or even got sick so must be doing something right. 🤷‍♂️

Was looking for bigger tires for my truck and some 39.5 on 16" bullet holes showed up on Marketplace. $500 for 4. Was really looking for 35's, maybe 37's. After a few months was losing patience and these 39.5's showed up and said to hell wth it and got them. My kid had backed the truck thru someone's house and ruined the bed. (And $35k indamage to their house😭) So I made an off road bed, no clearance problems in the back. Front, lots of issues. Cut the fenders, then moved the floors back 3". Works pretty well, smooth on the highway at 75mph with the 4.6.
