We're looking for a good autism therapist for in-home ABA therapy in the Raleigh area. We also are in need of a speech pathologist. We're new here and aren't familar with the landscape. Does anyone know where to turn, or have had a good experience with a good provider?
About 7 years ago was at a night club then had horrible tinnitus for the first time in my life.
Two days following my hearing went out in a work meeting then came back. Then the tinnitus went away. I let it go, Never saw a doctor.
(Have been SSD since a kid).
Two months ago was at a nightclub again (rarely go) and wore ear plugs, but had tinnitus the next day. It subsided then was doing dishes, a loud dish caused the tinnitus. Then went on plane, the high altitude maybe affected it. Went to a doctor, they cleaned my ear wax that's all.
Then 2 doctors later, I pushed for prednisone. The tunnel sound was so bad and tinnitus horrible I needed an answer. Also was getting bouts of bad vertigo. This is last week. They gave me a shot then 40mgs a day for 4 days.
Today was the 4th day, I went back and they gave me 20mgs for the next 5 days.
He didn't want to do an audiogram, for some reason.
I never want to experience that horrible tunnel sound again, but I feel it's coming back.
I got vertigo after I left the doctor.
Wondering if more prednisone is the answer, or what we can do.
Appreciate any support.

We used CloudTalk for outbound sales calls at my company. The product was frustrating from day one: dropped calls, integrations that break constantly, a dashboard that feels like it was designed by someone who has never made a phone call, and a mobile experience that is genuinely embarrassing for a "modern VOIP platform."
But the real issue came after we cancelled.
We went through the proper cancellation process. Confirmed it. And then got charged again the following billing cycle anyway. I reached out to support and got a ticket acknowledgment and then... silence. Followed up. Another auto-reply. Escalated. Nothing. It took over three weeks and repeated follow-ups to get a response that amounted to "we'll look into it."
No refund was issued. The charge just sat there.
I'm not going to pretend I know whether this is malicious or just catastrophic operational incompetence, but the outcome is the same: money taken after a cancellation, no accountability, and support that functionally does not exist.
If you're evaluating VOIP for a small business or sales team, do yourself a favor and look at Aircall, JustCall, or even Google Voice depending on your volume. CloudTalk isn't worth the headache.

Just a warning - they charge to your account and then don't help refund. Posting this as a warning to anyone thinking of using them. If they reach out and help me I'll take this post down. I'm extremely dissappointed in them.
