Constant plug/unplug windows sound.
Happens most often when I just launched a game and started playing.
I get several occurences in a row of windows playing a plugged/unplugged device sound, usually accompanied with the game stuttering as a result.
There's never anything related to it in the event journal.
And when I bring up the "PC" folder that shows my hard drives, when these sounds happen a drive that shouldn't exist shows up and disappears.
It's been happening for a long time, and I thought it was gone after I installed windows 11, but after a while it came back.
Is there anything I could do to disable the phantom drive entirely, stop it from making sounds and affecting performances at all?
