Found this adorable little starry topper at the thrift store and it had to come home with me!

At least for now. I started wearing nail polish about a year ago. My nails were healthy at that point. About 8 months ago I used a base coat with PVB in it and my nails started to peel. I switched to a PVB free base coat and started doing weekly jojoba soaks. I also switched to soy based polish remover The peeling doesn't really seem to be getting much better. I'm going to try not using any products for a few months to see if the peeling stops and if it does I'll try going back to wearing polish and see what happens. Has anyone else taken a break from polish and seen improvement in nail peeling?

The batteries in it had leaked so I wasn't sure I could get it working, but here we are and my Gen X heart is happy!

Lyn B ridge filler base coat, Essie Kiss & Spell x2, no top coat. First time wearing this color, but this one is going to be an easy one to reach for when I don't want to think about what shade to wear!

The little frosted bottle is so cute! Pure Ice in Frosted Ice Really Rio.

A couple thrifted bottles that I feel could be just on either side of the vintage line. I've never seen an L.A. Colors bottle shaped like this. Nail rock seems to have been a flash in the pan U.K. company from what I can find.

Two coats with Essie Gel Couture topcoat. I like the color but think it would look better on a different skin tone.

Does anyone know if there are shade names for these polishes? Also I'm wondering if the Dani polish may have faded. The dried polish on the threads isn't really a different color though.

I'm not organized enough to purposely coordinate my nail with my clothes, but it's a happy accident when I do!

Can anyone suggest what this shade might be? Looks like a pre-2000 bottle since it lists the cities on the bottle. The color is a little more on the purple side than the picture shows.

Pop-arazzi's Glass Ceiling over Believe Beauty I Do. It's more yellow and pink in person than blue.
