second time on spiro for hirsutim (body hair) and going to the 2nd month with great results apart from my hair getting thinner and thinner everyday.
if you had hair shedding caused by spiro, did you have to quit? supplements recommendation? any help is welcome!
Hi everyone, recently I’ve restarted spiro to control my hirsutism and been noticing my hair shedding getting worse 🫠
Yesterday I decided to go back to my last blood work and noticed the DHEA was way lower than normal and I remember the general doctor recommended I’d see an endocrinologist to check that but I haven’t yet. I started to do a research and then the connection between low DHEA <> adrenal insufficiency <> hirsutism <> hair loss got me thinking that my problems - socially the hair loss! which annoys me so much - might’ve been coming from this adrenal fatigue instead of spiro itself?
I started noticing that when i take camomile on a regular basis throughout the day tea my folicles “calm” and my skin feels smoother which I thought it was only my head, but after doing this research yesterday I started thinking the hair loss might actually be caused by the adrenal insufficiency!
Sharing so anyone who is going through the same thing could share your experience :)
Hi everyone, I recently (last year 🫠) had a blood work that pointed a very low DHEA which indicates adrenal fatigue and the general doctor recommended I’d check a endocrinologist (preferred if specialized in women hormones) and since then i haven’t found a good one who accepts TK and that speaks english.
Does anyone have a good recommendation?
