Anyone joining this year?

Thought it'd be nice to know a few people before college starts instead of showing up knowing nobody. If you're joining, drop a comment or send a DM.

Where are you from, and when are you planning to reach campus?

Btw, I'm northie and will be visiting by 5 aug

Hey everyone!

I'm from Varanasi (UP) and will be joining SR University, Warangal this year.

I'm looking for a PG or a rented room near the university. I'd really appreciate any recommendations on:

Good areas to stay with easy transportation to the campus.

Areas/localities I should avoid, especially since I'm a North Indian and new to the city.

Approximate rent for a decent PG or shared room.

Also, if anyone is looking for a roommate, I'm totally down for sharing a room. Feel free to DM me if you're interested or have any leads.

Thanks in advance! Looking forward to meeting some of you.

Hi everyone,

I'm from Varanasi (UP) and I'm confused about which college to choose for B.Tech CSE.

My options are:

• SNBP University, Pune
• Accurate Institute of Management & Technology, Greater Noida
• Netaji Subhash Engineering College (NSEC), Kolkata (tier 3 private)

My profile:

• 10th: 85%
• 12th (NIOS): 69%
• CUET 2026: (attached scorecard)
• Category: OBC-NCL
• Didn't appear for JEE Main
• Tuition budget: ₹8-9 lakh

My goal is to build a career in software development, so placements, internships, coding culture, and overall opportunities matter more than campus life.

Would you recommend joining any of these colleges? Or are there any better options I should still consider based on my profile?

I'd really appreciate honest opinions, especially from current students or alumni.

Thanks in advance!

My qualifications-- passed 10 with 85 ℅ in 2022 and 12 with with 56 % in 2024 , appeared for improvement in 2025 but got even worse then appeared for nios and got 69 %

This is my cuet score, btw I'm double droper and I am getting tier 3 in West Bengal through wbjee .I am from varanasi. I don't know what to do, stressing I can't see myself in mirror. I know, I made all the bad choice. So please if anyone could guide me, I like coding and tech stuff even I am up for 10 lakh donation for B TECH in decent college. Chat gpt telling me do Bca and then Mca Or bsc in any subject and all. Please help😩🥺 🙏🙏🙏
