2009 Mercedes C300 4 Matic ABS AND ESP inoperative, Speedometer & Odometer Do Not Work- Dashboard Lit Up
Hi,
On my 2009 Mercedes C300 4 Matic I have these intermittent issues where sometimes all of the (below) issues will be on for hours, and then other times nothing will be on the dashboard and the car will say its fine. Assume I am a beginner with working on a car and please help me
These are the issues
- ABS Light is on
- Parking Brake Light is on (while it is not physically engaged)
- Triangle Warning Light is on
- Check Engine Light is on
- The Dashboard says
- ABS and ESP inoperative
- Cruise Control inoperative
- Speedometer does not work
- Odometer does not work
I got a used iCarsoft mb V2.0 to help me try and diagnose the problem. Can anyone help me with diagnosing the problem?
I have tried using the live data to check the wheel speed, but lol the scanner will not connect to the ESP/ABS system when the dashboard is lit up with the (above) problems.
I have pulled these codes off of the car using the iCarsoft mb V2.0.
- U012187 – Communication with ESP has a malfunction. The message is missing.
- 5521 – Check control module N30/4 (Electronic Stability Program control module).
- C121 – No CAN data was received from control module N47-5 (ESP and BAS control module) (171/203/209) or from control module N47-5 (ESP control module) (164/219/251/216/221) or from control module N47-5 (ESP, SPS [PML] and BAS control module) (211/215/220/230) or from control module Brake System.
- 05121 (P2004) – Diagnosis of tumble flap (intake manifold). Short circuit to ground of sensor lines / tumble flap shafts stick in the actuated position.
- 0925 (P2158) – CAN signal "vehicle speed at front axle" from control module Traction Systems is unreasonable.
- 1077 (P2421) – Mechanical defect or component Y58/1 (purge control valve) is permanently open.
- 1373 – No CAN data was received from control module Traction Systems.
- C1000 – Communication with the engine control module is malfunctioning.
- U113C00 – The wheel speed signals were not received.
- U114100 – The braking torque signal and the signal from switch "brake lights" were not received.
- P2158 – Vehicle Speed Sensor B Circuit.
- C423 – Unreasonable data was received from the instrument cluster.
Can anyone help me with what to do, or point me in the right direction of who to ask so I can figure this out and fix it? I appreciate any help. Assume I am a beginner with working on a car and that I may not have done all the correct things first.
Thank you.
