Should I cover my shoulder keloid for my wedding?

Hi everyone,

I’m getting married next year and I’m trying to decide whether I should cover my shoulder keloid with makeup or just leave it as it is.

It’s fairly large and noticeable. I’ve been getting steroid injections for about 5 years, and while it has improved some, it’s still very visible.

The dress in the photo isn’t my actual wedding dress, but it’s very similar in style and also leaves my shoulders exposed.

If you were in my shoes, would you cover it for the wedding, or embrace it? I’d really appreciate honest opinions.

Updated outfit after your feedback! Did I get closer to my inspo?

Hi everyone!

Thank you so much for all the honest feedback on my last post. I took your advice and got a new dress and switched to wider, chunkier boots.
I’m also planning to add a short veil for the actual shoot which will be at a park.

I also have a pair of white heels that I’m considering wearing, but if you think the heels still don’t work with this dress, please let me know. I really love my new dress, so I’m hoping to make the rest of the styling work.

I also tried adding a leather jacket, but personally I feel like it makes the outfit look a little too heavy when paired with the boots. I’d love to hear what you think about that too.

Do you think this outfit gives the same vibe as my inspo photos? Is there anything that still feels off, or do you think I’m on the right track?

Please be brutally honest—I genuinely want to hear your opinions before my engagement shoot!

Need opinions on my engagement shoot outfit! Boots or heels?

Hi everyone!

My fiancé and I are taking our engagement photos at a park next week, and I’m going for a romantic/editorial vibe similar to the inspiration photos attached. I have black knee-high boots (pictured) and white heels.

questions:

  1. Should I keep this dress?
  2. Do the black boots work, or do they look too heavy?
  3. Would you choose the boots or the white heels?

I’d really appreciate honest feedback!

Would my Bernedoodle’s color fade away?

I have a 1-year-old Bernedoodle, and recently we met a couple of other Bernedoodle owners. They all said they paid extra for tri-color coats, but the brown eventually faded and their dogs became mostly black and white.

I didn’t pay extra for my dog’s color or anything, but now I’m curious — do all Bernedoodles eventually lose or fade their colors as they grow up?

I may need to stop Invisalign due to bone loss

Hi Reddit,

I had moderate to severe crowding before starting Invisalign. I already had some gum recession and bone loss, so I waited until age 33 to finally start treatment last November after getting approval from my periodontist. My orthodontist also decided to keep all of my teeth (no extractions) to minimize tooth movement because of my existing bone and gum loss.

Now I’m having significant pain in one of my lower teeth, so I went to an emergency dentist and found out there’s around 34% bone loss around that tooth, with possible progression in other areas too. I stopped at tray 24 and have been wearing the same tray for 3 weeks while waiting to see my orthodontist and periodontist next week.

I’m really discouraged because my original plan was 2 years, but my teeth have moved much faster than expected in almost 6 months. If I need gum grafting or bone grafting, it could delay treatment another 6 months or more. I also have my wedding next April, so I’m stressed about the timing.

Has anyone had to pause or stop Invisalign because of gum or bone loss? Were you able to restart treatment later?

Which wedding band?

My engagement ring is a classic Tiffany 6-prong, 1.31-carat solitaire.

  1. 2.2 mm
  2. Not sure, but slimmer

Would love opinions!

Help me choose a wedding dress

I narrowed my wedding dresses down to three.

  1. Crepe dress
  2. Lace with straps
  3. Lace with sleeves

I’m going for a romantic, classy, timeless vibe. Which one would you pick?

EDIT:
Hi everyone, thank you so much for taking the time to comment and help me choose 🥹 I’ve been reading through all the feedback, and I was surprised that #2 got so much hate,

so I’ll add photos of the model wearing the #2 dress in the comment section as well.

The top and bottom will eventually be the same color, so it won’t have that separated look in person. Also, the dress is much sparklier in real life.

I absolutely love the fit and timeless look of dress #1, but I also really love the back of dress #2. Now I’m even more torn 😭

Do you still think I should go with #1, or has anyone changed their mind after seeing the model photos? Please help! Thank you so much 💕
