Full price for a 5 yr old?

Part time golfer, full time dad. My son picked up a club at 3 and really has loved learning the game of golf. We watch every weekend and he asks me constantly “dad can we go golfing soon” which is just the absolute best. We get out for 9 holes a couple times a month and as a father of 3 under 8. But damn, every course we’ve been to charges me full price for him to play 9 holes. There’s not a course within 50 miles of me that gives any sort of discount for age. I’m not talking prime time either. Mid week middle of the day typically where tee times are a plenty. Just ranting mostly

Just to update really quick. I have checked youth on course and there is one course within 30 minutes, 2 within an hour that participate. I’m in northwest Ohio right on the border by Michigan so there’s no shortage of courses near by either.

For those that have blown in their own attic insulation, i have a question

After some extensive research and planning i think I’m going to try to tackle the task of blowing in my own attic insulation on my 1300sqft ranch. What’s one thing you wish you would have known before starting? Or something you figured out during the process that could have made this task more manageable?

I’ve run out of ideas. For about two weeks now I’ve been seeing these gnats/fruit flies in my half bathroom window and only on the window. I’ve taped the window shut, sprayed with ortho home defense (from the outside) and finally hung these traps just three days ago. I’ve flushed the sink drain with hot water, taped off the drain overflow for days. I’ve seen them between the panes but have no idea how they’re getting in. I’ve run out of ideas….

So my lease is up in the next few months and the wife and i have decided that purchasing a lightly used truck would be ideal. To start, my budget is around 40k. I don’t have any “serious” towing needs but Ive always wanted a 2500. I’ve leased a 1500 for the last 10 years and more times than not, i could have used something with a larger payload. I’m leaning towards a diesel for longevity but I’m not 100% stuck on it. It’s also not my only means of transportation as i have a work car i can drive most of the time. That being said i do need a 4wd capable vehicle as I’m a an essential employee and have to drive to work even in a level 3 weather emergency.

That being said, what do i need to avoid and what are the things i need to look for when i find one i like? 4th gen vs 5th gen pros and cons? I have a buddy also who owns his own diesel shop that’s willing to do a pre purchase inspection as well as my diesel knowledge is not as extensive as others. Any help would be appreciated thank you!
