Update on Powermodded 9070 XT

Good morning everyone as promised here’s some more evidence for my powermodded XFX Mercury 9070 XT
It’s a frigid 60 degrees today yielding much better results than the 90 degrees (100 in my room) of yesterday
Anyways
The mod is supposed to be ephemeral, needing to be redone every time the computer is powered off, but it seems mine was installed permanently! Thankfully I have my other vbios
Anyhow!
Here’s what I’ve captured for cyberpunk this morning and I’ll be posting more later
It’s only letting me post 1 video (it’s actually 2 together weird) so I’ll post the pictures in the comments

They called me a madman.

I said you could match a stock 4090 with a 9070 XT with an XOC, they called me a madman… so, fine, I did it myself.

I made a longer post on PCMR explaining some challenges preventing higher FPS, im going to run more tests tomorrow when it’s cooler outside

448.9 watts, +5mv to GFX

They called me a madman

They said it was impossible, to match a 4090 with my 9070 XT, they called me a madman… yet here we are all the same.

448.9 watts, +5mv to gfx

I did get one run over 74 fps, but I forgot to take a picture, so it’s up to you to believe me, regardless it’s air cooled and the ambient temp is 83 with a daily high around 90+ so im done until the AC gets turned on (yes I live with my parents, unfortunately, grateful tho)

Specs:

I did a thing…

My Prime OC… looked small in my case, it made me feel inadequate as a man… so I did a thing…

I Love my QD-miniLED

I was gonna make a post like “where’s the bloom OLED bros?” But the camera picks up IPS glow/bleed that the human eye doesn’t, and I know one of them would point at that and be like “it’s right there!” So im making an appreciation post instead ❤️

Yes I took a screenshot of the video mode’s 4k capture, no the photo mode doesn’t let you take 4k pictures, what of it?

I just recently purchased a pair of Nothing Headphones (1), and on my phone over Bluetooth they sound amazing, but whenever I connect them to my desktop they sound horrid. I can’t seem to get windows to recognize that there are headphones, not a headset for communications, and I have no option to enable 24bit audio, but I can on my Bang & Olufsen H4-2 headphones which are 6 years older and have far inferior hardware and codec support

I’m very frustrated as I’ve been having nothing but windows problems recently. The Realtek audio console recognizes that they support high fidelity audio but windows will not.

I currently own a pair of Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H4 2nd Gen headphones

I find the sound quality to be superb, although I know others will disagree; however, the lack of Spatial Audio has been eating at me, and I desperately need high quality ANC as my sensory issues, the primary of which is auditory processing, have been a lot worse lately. I’ve been borrowing Air Pods Pro (Gen 1 or 2 I forgor, more likely 1, def not 3) from my brother and mom, so I was thinking that comparable or better ANC would be preferred. I also want a natural sound curve or whatever its technical name is.

I have been looking at the Beoplay Portal, Nothing 1, and options from soundcore

I’ve been staying away from Sony and Bose because they’re too bassy, and unnatural elevated bass gives me really bad headaches

And I’ve been staying away from other brands because of price

I’m also looking into seeing whether my insurance company will cover a nice pair as DME with my doctor writing a note of medical necessity, so maybe AirPods Max if they will???

Regardless, what do you guys recommend, my current budget is about $200, but I can swing a bit above that if I need to, but I don’t want to spend significantly more than $300
