So...A couple of days ago I was doing the threshing day activity as most of us, and I got a red clubtail. Hence today, I wondered whether or not her lineage was the same as any dragon from the book. And I was happy to see it's the same as Liam's and Sloane's dragons.

Then I checked the rest out of curiosity and found that:

- Dain's and Sawyer's match.

- Brennan's and Imogen's match.

- Xaden's and Aaric's match.

- Bodhi's and Rhiannon's match.

- Garrick's and Ridoc's match.

- Sloane's and Liam's match.

The only one without a match is Mira. And Rebecca said (I believe I remember from one of her interviews) that a loved character will die next book. And Rebecca loves to use subtle hints and foreshadowing.

So either this could be a nice foreshadowing of her and Drake's relationship (since Drake is a gryphon flier, not a dragon's, so like... no dragon match)

Or very bad news.

I've read my good share of this genre, and when I was finishing one of Rina Kent's books of the Legacy of the Gods series I had this sudden craving. Seeing Remi and Ariella's "theme", where the female lead is the one doing the stalking while the male lead is just vibing is RARE. And I really wanted to read about it.

So I did some digging and found nothing. Female leads who are nice, kind, and just overall good people, paired with male leads who are black flags atp? Sure. Plenty, dozens. The other way around? I came back empty handed.

Most of the result I got were cases where both leads are equally unhinged. But I am struggling to find a dark romance where the male lead is just a sweet guy, golden retriever vibes, and the female lead is the obsessed/unhinged one.

This has just made me crave this setting even more, so if anyone knows any book of this sort, I'd be very happy if you could write it in the comments, thank you very much ^^.
