We stopped breastfeeding at 26 months, here’s how it’s going 5 days later

I stopped breastfeeding my 26-month-old daughter 5 days ago. She absolutely loved breastfeeding and would nurse throughout the night, for naps, and several times during the day.
A few weeks before stopping, I started preparing her by telling her, “The milk will stop working soon.” Then the day came when we were going to stop. I put band-aids over my nipples and showed them to her, telling her, “They don’t work anymore.”
Then I went away for a two-day trip with my girlfriends, and her dad stayed home with her for two nights.
The first night, he got her to sleep by rocking her. She woke up after 3 hours and was restless for a few hours. She couldn’t settle back down, but she wasn’t crying. Eventually, she fell asleep again.
The second night, she woke up twice for about 5 minutes each time, and her dad had to get up and rock her back to sleep.
Then I came home from my trip.
She asked to breastfeed, so I showed her the band-aids again and told her that the milk still “didn’t work.” She accepted it 😳 She had a glass of water instead.
The first night with me was rough. She didn’t cry or ask to breastfeed, but she was awake for FOUR hours. 🫠
The second night, she woke up once, and all I had to do was say “shhh” and pat her back, and she went straight back to sleep.
She hasn’t cried for the breast at all. She has asked a few times and checks occasionally to see if they still “don’t work,” but she accepts it every time.
I think she’s simply learning to associate sleep with something other than breastfeeding. ❤️

Breast lump turned out to be a lymph node, but they still did a biopsy. Looking for experiences

Im a 35-year-old woman and I’ve have a small lump on my right breast.
The lump is about 1 cm, soft, oval, movable and not painful. I’m still breastfeeding, so I wondered if it could be related to that.
I went to my doctor, who examined it and said she wasn’t concerned, but referred me for further assessment.
At the breast clinic, they did an ultrasound of both breasts. The ultrasound report said there were no solid suspicious changes in either breast. The lump I could feel corresponded to a small, normally appearing lymph node. They also found no abnormal-looking lymph nodes in either armpit.

However, they still decided to do an FNA (fine needle aspiration) from the palpable lymph node “for safety”.
Now I’m mostly relieved, but I’m curious about a couple of things:

How reliable is ultrasound at distinguishing a normal lymph node from something suspicious?

And does anyone know why they would still take an FNA from a lymph node that looked completely normal on ultrasound? Is this a common precaution when the lymph node is palpable, or does the fact that they took a sample mean there was some uncertainty that isn’t obvious from the report?
I’d really appreciate hearing about other people’s experiences with a similar situation, especially anyone who has had a palpable lymph node that was confirmed benign by FNA. ❤️

Looking for a street name in Banja Luka?

The old street name was Istarska but was changed after the war. We don’t know the current name of the street. It was in the quarter “budzak” which is Lazarevo now.
