Recommend Obgyn , in Atlanta..

Hey everyone, quick question. After IVF, once you graduate from the fertility clinic around nine or ten weeks, you switch to an OB/GYN. A lot of women in Atlanta seem to choose smaller private clinics instead of seeing the hospital-based doctors directly. Why is that? Is it the more personal attention, longer visits, better continuity, or something else? Would love to hear your experiences. Thanks!

Also need good recommendations of Obgyn for patients graduations from ivf , near Johns creek area/ alpheretta / Suvanee pls thanks !

Medicated FET cycle

Hi ladies, quick questions for those who’ve done a medicated FET:

  1. Did you get your blood work and ultrasound reports in the patient portal or by email after each monitoring visit? If not, how did you request them from the clinic?

  2. How did you time your progesterone — both the PIO shots and the vaginal suppositories? What time of day did you usually take them, and how did you space the estrogen (pills or patches) around the progesterone?
Also, when did you take your other supplements like prenatal, iron, or probiotics in relation to everything else?

Would love to hear what worked for you and which clinic you went to. Thank you ❤️

Donor egg ivf , dose protocol

Hi everyone,
I’m doing a donor egg cycle . They will thaw frozen donor eggs, fertilize with my husband’s sperm, and do a fresh day-5 embryo transfer.

My protocol is 2 mg estradiol tablets, 3x a day (total 6 mg/day) for ~30 days.
I’m worried because my body already seems quite estrogenic naturally. Is 6 mg/day common in donor egg fresh transfers, or on the higher side? Has anyone with higher natural estrogen been prescribed this and how did it go? Did your clinic adjust the dose after bloodwork?
Experiences/advice appreciated. Thank you! 🙏

Obgyn recommendations

Hi everyone! We’re expecting (likely via IVF) and looking for recommendations for a good OBGYN or maternal-fetal medicine specialist in/near Johns Creek, Alpharetta, or Cumming. Ideally someone experienced with high-risk pregnancies (advanced maternal age, IVF history, possible multiples, etc.) who delivers at a hospital with strong NICU/perinatal support.
Also interested in practices that offer good postpartum care. Any experiences with wait times, doctor availability, bedside manner, or how they handle high-risk cases would be super helpful!
Bonus: Any thoughts on travel time for frequent prenatal visits? We live in the Johns Creek area and want to minimize stress, especially later in pregnancy. Thanks so much — really appreciate any suggestions!
