CHPY for Income?

Could someone explain how CHPY works? I already own SMH, QQQ, and other semi-ETF stocks, but I’ve been reading about the substantial dividends CHPY pays.

I’m looking to invest around $30,000 to generate a consistent dividend income.

Are there any other stocks that offer similar dividend yields, or is CHPY the best option for me?

Any OTHER suggestions to throw $30k in? I am already in semiconductors as mentioned as well as VOO and SPMO..Anything I’m missing out on?

Toast Subscription Renewal

I’m sure most people whose subscriptions were up for renewal encountered this message. I’ve been using Toast for the past five years for a pizza restaurant, and while it has its drawbacks, I still like it.

However, I’m hesitant to commit to another two-year term just in case I decide to switch to another platform. Their pricing for a small pizza shop is quite expensive, at $450 per month.

Are there any other better options available? Should I just sign another two-year contract and pay the $450 per month that includes all the integrations, marketing, kiosk, software, and so on?

Market Manipulation

Well thanks to Mr. Trump, here comes a big sell off tomorrow due to the Iran negotiations. This is insane how the markets can be manipulated like that and the normal trader is left helpless.

I’m sure we will be back up by end of the week when another “deal” is made.

MUU stock split?

I recently received an email regarding a stock split.

Is this a positive indicator for MUU as a long-term investment, considering the anticipated stock split in July?

Software Update 3.6

Just received the new software update and it is still missing mobile key fob to allow to use the Lucid App as your key. Any idea when this is going to be released? They did update a lot of other little things though

Big gains today

I entered the market about two months ago and experienced a significant drop a few weeks ago. However, today, I’m up overall and have a great return.

Given that the market is currently high and highly volatile, with the possibility of a sudden ceasefire breach at any moment, should I consider withdrawing some profits and re-entering the market at the current dip or simply let it continue its upward trend? How do the big players do it?

For reference, I’m investing in VOO, SMH, and various space stocks, among others.

I am planning on investing for approximately five years or more.

Compensation for Gravity in Service

I picked up a Lucid Gravity GT about six weeks ago, and the first 2–3 weeks were fantastic. Unfortunately, a software issue caused several features to stop working, including key fob connectivity, SiriusXM, and the MyQ garage door integration.

The vehicle has been in the service department for a little over two weeks now. To Lucid’s credit, they did provide me with a loaner vehicle during the repair process, which I appreciate.

That said, I’ve barely made my first payment and haven’t really had the opportunity to fully enjoy the vehicle during my first month of ownership. I’m coming from Tesla, where service tends to be very responsive and mobile technicians often come directly to your home, so this has been a different experience for me.

I’m trying to be patient because I understand Lucid is still growing and working through both vehicle and service-related challenges. At the same time, I’m wondering if it would be reasonable to ask for some form of compensation for the first months dues given the amount of downtime so early in ownership. I don’t want to come across as petty—I’m genuinely just trying to understand what would be considered fair in this situation.

Morgan Stanley Advisor?

I currently have a few hundred thousand dollars invested in the market, primarily in VOO, with a portion allocated to SMH, VTI, VGT, SCHD, QQQ, and VXUS.

A Morgan Stanley financial advisor wants to create a proposal to manage my portfolio and minimize the risk of losing more than 30% or 50% of my assets in a bearish market.

I’m wondering if it’s worth investing in a financial advisor for the amount I’ve invested (300k). I understand that many of these stocks are correlated and overlapping, but I’m also curious to know if the stocks I’ve chosen will eventually yield a return or could they drop 30-50% like they make you think

Lucid App Not Waking Up

Just got the Gravity GT three weeks ago and this morning I drove it fine but for the last two days the SiriusXM Radio says it’s trying to reconnect, my HomeLink Garage opener doesn’t show anymore and the app shows this on the screen and hasn’t “Woke Up”

Mobile Service is supposed to call me within 48 hours but wanted to see if anyone can share some insight on this issue
