On Instagram and tiktok I saw videos taken in may 2026 of what nieman marcus topanga looked like right before they closed.

The store was cleared out and manikins all lined up.

Its actually sad!!

Unfortunately there are acquantnaces that I know who lost their jobs at that nieman marcus topanga due to the store closing.

Hopefully nordstrom westfield topanga mall stays strong and doesn't go out of bussiness too??

The nieman marcus topanga mall had a nice looking restaurant with a fake waterfall on the patio.

Does anyone enjoy going to the norstrom coffee bars in alderwood mall and Bellevue sqaure mall?? I do

When I visit my parents in encino,California i go to the nordstrom coffee bar at westifled topanga mall.

Atleast 4 times a week in the afternoon I get the ginger peach iced tea and a brownie or cookies at the nordstrom coffee bars.

I also like the cold brew coffee at nordstrom coffee bar.

The pastries at nordstrom coffee bars are baked in store and not brought in from a vender.

The brownies and cookies at nordstrom coffee bar are too die for.

Also the bazille restaurant at nordstorm alderwood mall and nordstrom grill at bellevue sqaure mall have great hamburgers and fish and chips and tomatoe soup. The bazille restaurant at westfield topanga mall has the same food too!!

Does anyone else enjoy the coffee bar and food at nordstrom?? I enjoy it

For 11 years I have lived in an apartment in seattle,Washington all alone.

8 or 9 years ago i came across this group of autistic friends in the seattle area.

These autistic friends are mostly 10 years younger than me in age. We meet once a month at a restaurant or at someone's house or apartment.

Everyone in the autistic friends group doesn't drive a car and never went to college. Most of them are on ssi and dont have jobs.

For myself I drive a car and have a college education from a university.

Unfortunately looking for paid employment as im struggling.

These autistic friends also live with their parents in their late to mid 30s.

Im a white single straight cacasion male in my 40s.

What im trying to do is find friends and girlfriends more at my level. It seems hard to do.

Today in seattle,Washington i decided to try something different.

I went to a poetry class at my local community center that meets once month.

The class lasts 1 hour.

There was 1 male and 2 females who attended plus me.

Im a white cacuasion male in my 40s who is also straight and single.

After the class everyone walked together and started talking to each other. Unfortunately the people from the class ignored me and pretended I wasn't there after the class.

For years i have tried to make friends and find a girlfriend but no luck.

Im not giving up just yet!!

For the past 11 years I have been using southwest airlines to fly from seattle sea tac to burbank,California.

For the past year it appears that southwest is mainly offering seattle to burbank flights for sale that depart from 5am to 11.30am.

If you want to leave sea tac at 3pm or even 5pm to get to burbank you are out of luck.

Why is this??

For years and years southwest used to offer itineraries that left sea tac at 4pm or 5pm and got to burbank at 10pm.

What happened to those??

The cheapest and shortest itineraries these days on southwest airlines from seattle to burbank leave seattle at 5am or 6am.

Thats rough for me. To make a 5am flight i have to talean uber from my apartment at 2.30am or 3am.

Often not by choice im paying more and using alaska airlines non stop between seattle and burbank. Alaska has afternoon and evening departures from seattle to burbank. Alaska offers 5 non stop flights per day between seattle and burbank.

The reason I like to go with southwest is because I have alot of free rapid rewards points to use.

Then returning on southwest going from burbank to seattle its either 7am departures from burbank or 5pm or 6pm departures. Those 5pm or 6pm flights land in sea tac often at 11pm which is too late for me.

Then the 7am flights require me to leave my parents house at 4.30am or 5am.

I have many southwest airlines giftcards and many free repid rewards points.

Why does southwest have such limited options to seattle sea tac??

For example from Oakland,California to sea tac southwest used to offer 8 or 10 non stop flights per day. Now from Oakland to seattle southwest only offer 2 or 3 non-stops per day.

Where is southwest using their aircraft to fly to these days??

For 11 years I have lived and still live in northgate seattle.

For the past 5 years I have been grocery shopping at whole foods lynnwood,fred meyer 196th street and safeway mountlake terrace.

I dont like the northgate and roosevelt seattle grocery stores.

Also I drive to Lynnwood for the alderwood mall and to eat at cheesecake factory and pf changs and olive garden.

Also I get my car washed at mr.kleen car wash on alderwood mall parkway.

I also buy my gas for my car in Lynnwood or mountlake terrace.

Is this unusual for someone who lives in northgate or north seattle??

Many people say to me why dont I live in Lynnwood if I feel this way??

The drive on the 5 freeway from northgate to Lynnwood without traffic only takes me 9 to 10 minutes without traffic.

During the pandemic me and my now x girlfriend saw a few movies at amc alderwood and our experiences were awfull!!

The restrooms smelled worse than public park restrooms.

The popcorn wasn't fresh amd the soda was flat on numerous occasions.

The seats didn't recline and the air conditioning was broken.

According to recent reviews om Google on yelp it seems that this amc alderwood hasn't changed much??

Is this amc bad or is it just me??

I have never tried the amc topanga mall. I have heard from yelp and google reviews that this movie theater is horrible from dirty restrooms to rude employees to broken air conditioning??

Is this true??

Also I have noticed ticket prices for this theater are on the expensive side??

If this amc is as bad as the reviews how do they expect to stay in business??

Its interesting that pf changs in the old promenade mall is still opened after all of these years. Is pf changs moving??

For years at sprouts I have been purchasing sprputs 15 percent grass fed ground beef and grass fed filet minougn steaks. The meat at sprouts tastes better than whole foods, safeway/vons and qfc/ralphs. What im curious about is where does sprouts meat come from??

Are these former Amazon fresh stores going to become whole foods?? Or lazy acres?? The former Encino location could make a good sprouts location.

Any new updates on the westfield topanga mall??

I love living in seattle where i have lived for 11 years.

Its scary and also tiring hearing about bussiness break ins that happen in ballard,Fremont and wallingford.

Local readership, police and court judges should do more to stop this type of stuff from happening.

Two days ago there is even someone who posted on reddit about a break in at 1am at ballard coffee company and fice guys burgers.

At five guys burgers the thieves got nothing at all.

Then last week there was a news report that all the best pet stores many seattle locations were broken into and merchandise was stolen.

Things in seattle city limits keep getting worse and worse and not better.

Also I hear reddit posts and news reports of law abiding king county metro bus riders being attacked or robbed all the time now.

I wish the city of seattle would handle things like Bellevue,Washington and not put up with this type of stuff!!

Even though my parents live in encino my 2 favorite ralphs stores are porter ranch and topanga/ventura. I also like the ralphs at victory/fallbrook and chattsworth st/zelzah.

These ralphs locations are clean, big and spacious.

The encino ralphs is small and cramped and out of stuff.

I graduated with a BA from csun in June 2004. My degree was ctva aka cinema TV arts.

Im a valley local and went to Birmingham high school and graduated from Birmingham in June 1999.

For years and years society and employers ignore the fact that I went to college at csun.

Society treats me like a high school dropout.

Im proud I went to csun and have nothing against it.

Currently I live in seattle,Washington amd people look down at me because I didn't go to university of Washington aka uw.

The only paid jobs I have had are bagging groceries or retail.

Even though i graduated from csun with a BA degree because I have autism people and employers treat me like a high school dropout.
