First time posting here so, sorry if the post doesn’t follow the community typical format or theme.

I’ve been listening to FFDP for the best part of the last decade and I’ve seen them live a couple of times.

Then I started noticing questionable album and merch art verging towards AI slop looking imagery. Then the official videos coming start to finish out of a slop factory. Then lyrics and audio making me wonder if the band I loved listening to is gone for good.

Does anybody know if the band (or any of the member individually) has taken any stance, about the topic? If they’ve been questioned about it or if it has been addressed by them or to them in any capacity?

Per what the title says. AirPods Pro 3. Lately it happened a couple of times that I’d start hearing a metallic “banging” sound, like a hammering on a metal pot (that’s the closest example I can think of) when my teeth touch (in a normal “moving my mouth around” fashion and not violently banging) when noise cancellation is on.

When that happens and I try and talk through the Noise Cancellation I can hear a faint resonance of my voice. Not any voice from the outside but only mine. Almost as if it’s coming through the bones (if that makes any sense).

When that happens the metallic resonance starts quite faint but increases in the span of a few minutes becoming unbearable until I’ve got to take the AirPods off.

- Anyone experienced anything similar?

- Is it a matter of cleaning the mics/meshes?

- Could it be a flawed unit?

I’ve had the Shades of Coffee spring mod (6,5bar) installed for a while now and I’ve been pretty happy about it.

I don’t use the steam wand all that often (perhaps one out of 8-10 times) and, after installing the mod, I’ve experienced the machine making an unexpected metallic sound (like a gear bumping against another while trying to turn… that’s the best way I can describe it, I’m sorry) when tuning on the steam switch and letting it be for a minute or so.

before the spring mod is turn the steam switch on and let if be until it led turned on but now I better use the steam wand in around 15-20 seconds or the metal clanking will start.

Does the spring mod affect the steam operation in any way and, if so, in which way?

I’m used to light roasts but recently I got gifted a bag of Full City + roast by a friend and I’d like to make the best out of the beans.

I’m using:

- Gaggia E24 with 6.5 bar OPV
- 18-20gr IMS basket
- Comandante C40 Mk4 (stock, no red-clix)
- 100ppm filter water.

I’ve tried pulling a couple of shots and it tasted quite ashy and, well, dark roasty (not a thing I enjoy).

So far I tried:

- 16gr in 32ml out.
- 9 seconds the first time.
- 13 seconds the second time, a click finer.

What would you recommend me, in order to get something sweeter or just not tasting like… dark roast?

- should I go the Americano/cappuccino way?

Hello everyone,

I get how to share audio with someone in the same room or walking with me when listening to music via AirPods then I tried making a FaceTime call expecting the audio to still be shared and have the both of us hear the call audio in our AirPods but the audio would default to the iPhone speakers or only one of the two sets of AirPods.

Am I missing something or is it a known limitation (for privacy or something on those lines)?

We were using IPhone 17/iOS26, iPhone 16/iOS18, AirPods Pro 3.

I’ve never used any HomeKit related device nor any smart home appliance (light, Lock, camera or anything).

I was eyeing the Nanoleaf Smart Bulb but can‘t really wrap my head around the requirements.

- Does it need a HomePod in order to work at all?

- Does it need a HomePod only to work on threads?

- Does it work when setup with an iPhone/iPad only?

- What’s the difference in practice between the WiFi and the thread model?
