Help me build mutual fund portfolio for my sister

Current age:20

Monthly allocation: 20k/- month

Risk appetite: Really high risk (Parents already have around 70L portfolio)

Time period: 5-6 yrs or 10 yrs in case of no urgent need of funds

I have learnt about mutual funds but am still confused about what I should choose based on the market cap (even after reading articles and seeing multiple videos)

I am clear about allocation in equity and debt (90-10)

Based on market cap, I was thinking to allocate it as follows:

8k flexi cap (PPFAS and HDFC to 4k each)

2k Gold mutual fund (SBI most likely)

4k small cap (Invesco/quant/bandhan)

4k mid cap (motilal oswal)

2k index fund (not decided)

Please guide me on the basis of my choice, feel free to criticise and correct me if I am doing something wrong.

Thanks

Waiting for some awesome guidance!

Please review my portfolio

Hello guys

So, these are 2 portfolios of my father and my mother

We have currently around 75 lakhs combined in Mutual funds with an XIRR of around 13.5 and 14.5 respectively.

So, we are looking to sell 8-10 lakhs worth of Mutual funds from this portfolio and start SIP in some flexi cap funds, small cap funds and Gold.

I know that my portfolio is really overlapping and has too many funds so, I want to make it more balanced by defining a specific ratio for each section.

We are a high risk taker and don't need much liquidity for the next 5 yrs minimum.

So, can someone guide me on what I can sell off, what I should buy and the funds I should switch. The plans are currently regular growth as my father used to invest through some agent but from now onwards we will invest through GROWW in direct growth plans.

So, please give me some insights on how I can improve my portfolio and what should be the ideal allocation %age in each type of funds.

Thanks

I am pretty new to all this and don't have much information

So, can someone also please tell me how to evaluate mutual funds, choose the best ones and create a balanced portfolio?

Reviews on Dhoot Transmissions and shiprocket

I was looking to invest in dhoot transmissions and shiprocket as an HNI investor and as far as I have studied these IPOs look good with a high GMP and bright future.

The thing is I already suffered a loss of 2L+ on Gulf Lloyds ipo and still holding it and SBI funds management also didn't perform well what makes me think again about investing in IPOs.

So, what do you think

Should I bet on Dhoot and Shiprocket?

IPMAT Horror Story

Guys, there is something I need to tell y'all

So, this story is about the holy night just before IPMAT Indore. It was 4 am in the night and I was really tensed about the exam and had constant fear and anxiety, and this is all where it starts. While my hands were shivering constantly and I was thinking about the exam suddenly I saw Bhavesh bhaiya in front of my eyes, yes I am not even joking, i saw BB right in front of my eyes and I honestly couldn't believe that I saw the goat 🐐 right there. At first I thought that it was my imagination but then I pinched myself and saw that it was BB himself. BB saw my hands shivering and asked me why I was so tensed and why I was unable to sleep and I told BB the whole story about how my entire life depends on this one exam and I can't risk messing up IPMAT Indore. BB listened to this whole story and he calmed me down, slept beside me and sang me lullaby in his calm and soothing voice. So, this whole scene occurred at around 4:30am and I was asleep by 5am. Then after this I started getting dreams about me standing right in front of IIM Indore and taking a selfie, really happy. Then at around 10 am my mom came, woke me up and asked me to get ready as we had to leave by 11 am for the exam. So, after this I rushed to the bathroom, took a bath and got ready and finally went for the exam. But I still couldn't make it and had to settle for a tier 3 college.
