Is the nub visible here?

13w ultrasound (should’ve been 12w but baby was measuring at 13w) would you say nub is visible? If so which gender are you leaning? We find out blood results in a few days so just curious for fun! Tech was hesitant to make a guess lol they were moving around a lot

Quest Qnatal

Anyone who has recently or even not so recently had their NIPT done by quest, how quickly did you get results? I got my blood draw yesterday, and today they said estimated results by 7/7…. I am of course hoping it will be earlier than that lol.

How quickly did you get yours, and did yours match up with the estimate in your online portal?

QNATAL/NIPT Test

Hi everyone,

A few questions on NIPT testing

I will have my blood draw for the quest Qnatal NIPT test on June 29th. I spoke to my midwife about it so she knows we’re doing the test but ….. is all I have to do book an appointment with quest? I booked an appointment through their app for June 29, but it was never asked what test I was getting done. Is this normal?

Also, did you get to see your results before your provider? Or did you have to wait until your appointment to review?

And I guess I’ll throw in a third, for anyone who did quest, how long did it take to get results?

Thank you!

Travel systems and flame retardants

I did not expect this to be so difficult! But I’m learning more about flame retardants. I’d like to get a travel system for my baby, and was going to go graco (good reviews, great price tag) and then I learned about flame retardants. The options for a flame retardant free travel system seem way pricier for less functionality.

If you have any additional information on flame retardants and if this is something I should or shouldn’t put this much weight into, please let me know! Or if you love your somewhat affordable flame retardant free travel system, I’d love the recommendations! Or if you skip it all together and just do a car seat and separate stroller, I’m all ears!

Looking for advice on asking to go remote

Hi guys, hoping for some help or advice. I currently work for a small family business in Washington state. It has about 25 employees. I’ve worked here 2 years and let’s just say the environment is a little chaotic and difficult to pick up easily. I feel like I’ve done pretty well. I work in the office on the customer side of things. The issue is, I need to move back to my home state of Ohio in a few months.

My boss isn’t a particularly big people person, so most of our work is already done online and we maybe have one or two meetings a year if that. I go most days not talking to anyone in the building and assist all of our clients virtually. I haven’t spoken to my boss in person since late winter lol but I do message with her regularly about goings ons. Our accounting person is remote, but no one else is. I would really like to go remote and keep my job even though I’m moving. I plan to ask her next month, and give her about a 30 day notice (don’t want to catch her off guard or make her feel trapped). We don’t have great employee retention, and she doesn’t like conducting interviews. Does anyone have any tips to strengthen my pitch? I am open to negotiate salary to help cushion any tax implications, and would be willing to negotiate aspects of my job as well.

We use a large payroll service and I know they have attorneys. I know this is a big ask, but if anyone has tips I’d love to hear them.

Small business taxes

Apologies if this is too big to be considered a small business, or this is the wrong place. But if any of you have out of state W2 workers, I’d appreciate your insight.

Hopefully this is the right place, but I have a business tax question. I currently live and work in Washington state, for a small business of less than 30 employees. I have to move in September to Ohio. I would really like to keep this job. I will be asking my manager to go remote in the next month or two, but I want to prepare myself for her concerns. Do any of you know the potential tax implications she could face? I believe I would be their first out of state worker, so this is a big ask. I just want to know if she’s going to get slammed with a ton of paperwork or fees/taxes if I ask to do this, and I want to be prepared for this concern.

Thank you!

4w2d right side dull pain

Just want to see if anyone else experienced this!! I am super early on in pregnancy, only 4 weeks and 2 days. Most symptoms have been manageable obviously (I have this insane thirst that won’t go away lol) but within the last two days I’ve had light cramping (a little less than period cramping I would say) and this dull, achy pain on my right side radiating from my abdomen and pelvic region to my back. It’s not awful or stabbing, just kinda annoying! I just want to make sure it’s normal as I’m noticing I’m dealing with more anxiety than I expected too leading up to my first ultrasound.

Does anyone have thoughts on when she may have ovulated? She is TTC!

Edit to add: is she covering her fertile window?

Hi everyone,

I got off birth control mid March, and started temping and had a 31 day cycle. All seemed well and normal. Well, my second cycle started and there was some difficulty predicting my ovulation, NC said CD 21, but I started taking LH strips to be safe around CD 10…… well my husband and I had unprotected sex on CD 10 and 11, LH was still low, then the next day, on CD 12, my LH surged and I got this egg white cervical mucus and my chart changed. Of course that is to be expected since NC is clear it will take them some time to regulate my cycle, and we should have been more careful, but I am a little worried.

They predicted my period to start today and I am not feeling periody AT ALL (I will say my period off birth control was shockingly better than on birth control so maybe I just don’t have PMS anymore) and my temp hasn’t gone down. Just looking for any insight on my chart or any thoughts!
