I paid an advance payment for a product after being told it would be delivered within a specified timeframe. The seller has repeatedly delayed delivery for more than a month. When I requested a refund, I was informed that the advance payment is non-refundable, but this policy was never disclosed to me before I made the payment. The seller is willing to apply the amount toward another product but refuses to return my money.

What legal options are generally available in this situation, and do consumers typically have the right to a refund when a seller fails to deliver the product within the promised timeframe?

I booked a treadmill from the Zero Healthcare showroom in Multan on May 11, 2026. The staff asked for an advance payment and assured me that delivery would be made within a week. I paid PKR 15,000 and received an invoice.

It has now been more than a month, and they still haven’t delivered it, claiming the shipment was delayed. When I asked for a refund, they said it’s against their policy and that I can only use the amount toward another product. They never informed me that the advance payment was non-refundable. What can I do?

TL;DR She and her manager got into talking stage and she wanted to marry him but on first date he invited her to his place and molested her and kiss her.

The thing is, we had been through arguments many times and broke up multiple times, but somehow we always found our way back to each other. She works in a corporate job, and in late 2025 she mentioned that her firm had hired a new manager from another country. She told me that he had been messaging different girls in the company. Later, she said she found out that he had actually only messaged her. Long story short, I did not pay much attention to it at the time, although it stayed in the back of my mind. I treated it casually because she often shared stories about her work and colleagues with me. Moving forward, we broke up again in late 2025 over a different issue and did not speak until late January 2026. During the first week of January, I messaged her, but she responded very rudely and said that I had only reached out because I was lonely. That hurt me, so I did not message her again and decided to leave it there. Anyway, during the last week of January, she wished me a happy birthday and told me that she was talking to someone. I immediately asked, "That manager guy?" She said yes. She then told me that she was planning to marry him, that he gave her butterflies, and so on. I casually replied, "Okay, baby," to which she responded, "Don't call me baby, and we won't talk again." I simply said, "Okay." She disappeared again for about two weeks. Then one day she messaged me and told me that she was going to meet that guy at his place the next day. She said she was nervous about it. I genuinely cared about her and respected her decisions, so I asked, "Why are you messaging me? What do you want from me?" She replied that I understood her, respected her, and loved her in a way that no one else did, which was why she wanted my advice. I told her that if she was seriously considering marriage, then meeting him made sense, but she should meet him in a public place rather than at his home. She said he would not agree to that. I replied, "Then it's up to you." Well, she said, "Let's see." That day eventually came, and she went to his place as they had both agreed. According to her, they sat together, had some food, and talked. At one point, he playfully took her to the swimming pool and jokingly threatened to throw her into it, but that was just harmless fun. Anyway, then came the main part. She said she told him she was tired after a rough day at work and wanted to rest for a while because she still had to drive afterward. He said, "Yeah, that's fine. The bedroom is there, go and rest." As she was heading there, she said he hugged her, forced her onto the bed, and then kissed her. She also said he touched her inappropriately against her will. They did not have sex, nor did either of them get naked. He only kissed and touched her, and their clothes remained on. She said she tried to push him away, but he was much heavier than her. Somehow, she managed to convince him that she had to leave, and eventually she got away and left. My heart and mind keep revolving around this story, and I want your opinion on it. Sorry for long post.
