Need help with phone usage

Hey guys I think I have weak discipline I won’t say I lack discipline because I’m a Muslim man and I pray 5 times a day even waking up at 5 am on most days to pray. Also I gym 5 days in a week. However I feel like I waste some days just rotting in bed scrolling on my phone and sometimes I also lack discipline when it comes to eating. I’m looking for help with this issue.

I feel my phone usage has killed my once passion for reading and writing.

This is a question for the girls: have you ever felt lonely?

As a man I have noticed that women make friends more easily just curious was there a time in your life where you ever felt lonely despite having friends or a time where you had no friends at all?

Project ideas

Hey guys I’m a recent graduate in Electrical Engineering based in India, since I do not have employment right now I am trying to develop my own projects. If you guys have any ideas feel free to drop them. For context some projects I have worked on in the past are: filtering noisy audio files and extracting music, image processing 2 satellite images to identify increase in nighttime lighting and analysis of an ADS-B wave file to identify aircraft details.

Also I’m interested in cybersecurity and trying to find DSP project ideas that could converge the 2 fields. Please share any ideas you all have in mind.

Why I left Christianity

PS: I’m not hating on Christians or Christianity these are my thoughts and reasoning

I won’t lie to you most people who convert to Christianity do it for emotional reasons or because it has actually brought changes in their life. I used to be Christian but I stopped believing in Christianity and here are the few reasons:

  1. I do not believe the Bible is preserved. So the first writer of the Gospels is believed to be Mark, then Matthew and Luke write their Gospels then John writes the Gospel. Here’s the thing first Gospel was written about 3-4 decades after the death of Jesus. We also don’t have a possible chain of transmission. The Bible’s compilation feels like the compilation of Hadiths so church fathers meet 300 years later identify which books should make it into the Bible and which shouldn’t the problem is there is no proper chain of transmission.
  2. Belief in the real/spiritual presence of the Eucharist: Catholics and Orthodox Christians believe that during their services the priest prays over bread and wine (this is called consecration) and it becomes the body and blood of Christ. Catholics and Orthodox Christians believe that Jesus is actually present in the bread and wine - which makes it no less than idol worship. Even Hindu priests pray over an idol and believe it now has life or symbolically represents God (process called prana-pratistha).
  3. Theology is lacking logic: trinity cannot be true logically because they believe Father, Son and Holy Spirit are all God but they are not equal to each other. Which is an absurdity some Christians reconcile by saying they differ in relationship so it’s valid but then they miss an attribute and they are not all God.
  4. There is a verse in the Old Testament that says that the Earth cannot contain God but somehow in the New Testament God comes to Earth
  5. There are contradictions in the Bible which makes me believe it was fabricated and corrupted by humans as ordinary humans must have intervened at some point because there are scribal errors and contradictions.

I rest my case you are welcome to ask follow up questions or you can also message me if you would like.

The Dawah community seriously needs to do better

In case you don’t have TikTok for context she is an ex-Muslim and she says that she refuses to debate with Muslims because of the behavior of the following creators.
Orthodox Muslim threatened to 🍇 her friend.
Seerah Dawah drops the n-word with the hard r against GodLogic (I believe she might be taking what he said out of context)
Female creator Itachi made fun of the 21 Coptic martyrs.

As a recent revert to the faith it is disappointing to see the way Dawah community conducts themselves. When I was reading the character of Nabi Kareem SAW I was impressed to read about how he was so calm and peaceful but it’s devastating to see that individuals who are supposed to represent the faith behave like degenerates. Another thing I have noticed among the Dawah community is how quick they are to anger.

Seriously we neeed to do better.
