Pinball Machine Layout Software

Hello all, I'm interested in what the title says and I'm hoping you guys can shed some light. Every time I see this subject come up I see people refer to a game. I'm meaning so I can design my own physical custom machine. So PinballFX probably isn't what I need. At this point I don't need anything that can process physics just a basic 3d graphic software that doesn't come with an insane learning curve like Nomad Sculpt, and allows for custom measurements shown to correct perspective.

What are you all using? If possible please reference any android applications you know about as well.

Final question - what are you using to test your physics as well?

To clarify this is for a physical custom machine I intend to build not a virtual table though I will still obviously ask over there as well!!

Thanks!

So I realize this is probably not what they're meant for, but I happened to look down near my seatbelt buckle, and noticed a stretchy black strap in the area that is similarly used on gun holsters. I check the passenger side - sure enough there's one there. That makes me think they aren't specifically for guns. Why would the passenger need one also? But what are they for? It would work perfectly for a gun and that's the only thing I can reasonably see someone placing there. There's no room for anything else!!

EDIT totally forgot to mention - 2022 Charger SXT!

Completely enamoured by pinball and now I've seen a fair majority of the mass produced units. I have many favorites! But now I'm looking for anything interesting.

For instance -

Heineken made a bar that was a pinball table and was the size of a building.

There was a TV show called "The Great Marble Machine" that consisted of a few trivia questions and a round of pinball on a 25+ foot pinball machine.

Hercules used a literal billiard cue ball and was 8 ft long and over 3 ft wide - known as the largest commercial built mass produced machine.

Banzai Run - had a great looking full sized playfield, and then in place of back glass had a second but vertical 90° playfield. There were similar games like it made using CRT and projection but this is known as the only true vertical playfields.

There have been several circular - multiplayer machines with a rotating playfield.

What are some oddities you can think of to share? It's totally ok if you share a one off that someone built that showcases innovation not typically seen in the industry! Even better if it's a one off and you have pictures of the machine you can show us!

We're looking to add some coin pushers to our collection, and I decided to locate the coolest bill change machine I can find. All I'm finding are coin dispensers that look like they were made for the airport parking lot or for a laundromat. There are a few foreign models in Japanese or Chinese (sorry not sure) that have touch screens but that's not what I'm looking for.

I could SWEAR as a kid in the late 80's early 90's running around the floors of all kinds of different arcades that there were occasionally custom machines that you put your bill into and dispensed either tokens or quarters. These machines would be super over the top bright and flashy, colorful, lots of lights, always shaped differently like cool animals or just whatever.

Am I crazy? I can find nothing of the sort now. Just yucky boring dispensers that if that's all I can have I don't even want the change pushing machines. What happened to those machines?

Last question and I know this is a legitimate long shot - who here works in fabrication - that still fabricates cool custom shells for items like big unique custom signs, or those big fiberglass unique structures you see outside of buildings? Because I would totally pay for a unique creation and just use the shell to install all the coin change and bill accept mechs in it myself. I can even install lights and other things to make it unique.

Why the hell did we all get stuck in the boring timeline, when we came from the bright flashy one?

Has anyone put together some form of overlay that when activated it simply shows on your map any places currently reported as road work/road closed and the relevant info box?

That would be really sweet if so!
