The wide shots are shot using a special sensor mode called DCG mode which gives a 14- bit output, and much lesser noise in the shadows, in the motioncam pro app. All the photos are shot in motioncam pro.

I purchased the Motorola Signature a few days ago, and I'm really proud to say that I'm now a part of the Motorola community. I am really impressed with the software, the build, the incredible speakers, the astonishing cameras, It's really a complete set of goodies. I myself am a tech enthusiast and an aspiring videographer and have bought the device because of the great camera hardware it provides, But I've hit a dead end while trying to access one of it's powerful features, which is the Dual Conversion Gain (HF-HDR) feature of the Sony LYT-828 sensor.

Specifically, in third party apps like motioncam pro, There is no way to enable DCG RAW while shooting, Which REALLY makes a difference in video quality. It is such a thing, that can put this smartphone camera into an absolutely professional league, even rivaling large and expensive cinema cameras. It saddens me that there is no possible way to access it without rooting the device, Which is a huge blow to us enthusiasts. Yet, I still appreciate the level of control there is for 3rd party apps, it's far better than many other smartphone brands.

This is not something new, Some people have rooted and have actually managed to get access to that feature, Like in the Motorola edge 50 pro, Which made it so insanely powerful, It has managed to get to be on par with Iphone 17 pro's ProRes RAW, in some cases even beat it. Google has officially unlocked 12 bit DCG RAW capture on its Pixel 10 Pro and that single feature instantly made it one of the highest quality video capture devices in the smartphone market.

And the list goes on, slowly, people are realising how powerful this feature is and I REALLY hope that motorola provides some way to access it without rooting the device, And I truly believe that once this is done, Motorola's devices will be THE choice for smartphone videographers because of it's affordability and really capable hardware.

I sincerely request the team of Motorola to notice this message, this request is not just from me, There are a growing number of people who wish that there was a way to access this feature, many filmmaking enthusiasts like me with all but but a smartphone and a big dream, will benefit from this so much.
