So I'm making this and plan to crosstich it :D However I'm 1) unsure on the design(different fans/colors) 2) not sure on the size(shown on the last pic, this is how big it currently is w/ the clasp)
I'm considering selling it on etsy if it goes well and maybe making other mxtx characters. So I reallyyy want to know what works. Does it feel like too much? Too little? Should I do the dark or light wood? Do the strawberries look off(like the leaves)? And does the cucumber on his head look like a cucumber?(my friend said it looks like a plant)
I'm not the greatest w/ making pixel art so I certainly struggled a bit, especially w/ the fan (；ω；)

I really appreciate the feedback on my last post asking abt what age you started drawing. Ive built up enough courage to start learning(praying it lasts(・_・;)
But heres the thing- I have absolutely no idea where to start. I see ppl saying its best to start w/ drawing shapes in perspective or jst start drawing lines till they get straighter and straighter. (I'll be doing digital bc i already kinda know my way around ibis paint and its a safe place where others won't see it)
I want to draw people, thats my goal.
But also what are things you wished you did differently when you started, if anything?
I'm a writer and the only thing holding me back from writing is not being able to see my oc's drawn out infront of me.
However I feel like I'm too "old" to start drawing especially compared to my friends 😭
My friends are great artists, have been drawing their whole lives basically, are amazing at anatomy/clothing/literally everything, anddddd they're even taking Master Classes for art in school.
I'm super judgemental of myself/a perfectionist and I'm afraid to start bc I'm already doubting myself saying stuff like "I'll never be that good" or "Its gonna look so bad, this is embarrassing" or "If I say anything to them then they'll judge me"(they prob won't tho).
After the summer we're gonna be Juniors in Highschool and idk- Ik its never too late to start art but compared to everyone around me it feels dumb to start ig
I think imma either do his hair, the leaves, or the branches next hehe
I stabbed myself at least 100 times w/ that damn needle, my hands are cramping, and my back hurts from sitting still for hours on end but its so fun(T▽T)
