Just for a quick second before getting into detail, the issue is a fan connected to my motherboard started overheating rapidly. The wire caught on fire, but I managed to shut off the power supply before serious damage. Now, there is a scorch mark on the motherboard where the fan was connected. I just need to know if I can turn the PC on after removing that fan. There are like 10 connections for fans, so it's not a huge deal. I'm worried about my CPU. What should I do?
