How does my LC look? [Actives]

Is it necessary to test on an agar plates before innoculating spawn? Would you be able to tell by looking at it whether its contaminated or not? IMO this looks like healthy mycelium.

The debris near the bottom is left over from pressure cooking, and has been there since the beginning.(see my previous post if curious)

Im proud of how this has grown in just 2 weeks. But its growing faster than I am ready to use it. Can I keep it in the fridge?

Mugwort questions

Hi, im fairly new to herbalism and recently started researching Mugwort. I want to take it ocassionally for lucid dreaming, but I see that it can also cause spotting or an early period.

I keep seeing people talk about its effects on dreaming, but doesn't it also give you cramps and stuff? Im asking women specifically: do you have any recommendations for when to take this? I know people use it to regulate cycles but mine is already fine, and I have no need to start my period earlier. I just want it for a bedtime tea.

Can somebody explain if it's ok to take at any time during my cycle? Can you take it when ovulating or should you save it for right before your period so that it doesnt mess up your cycle? Does it really just not matter?

Im confused cause I keep seeing people talk about how its great for women's health (i Especially see men on YouTube saying that which irks me) but... the effects dont sound that great to me.

Thanks.

LC jars have white debris after pressure cooking [technique]

I first boiled the water to eliminate chlorine and added it to the jars with a tsp of honey each. Cooked at 15 psi for 30 minutes.

Now that theyre sitting here, I notice there's white debris at the bottom of the jars. It cant be dust because I thoroughly leaned the jars and lids before adding the liquid. Is it a byproduct of the honey? Im not especially worried about it but im wondering if this was an error. I added glass marbles to swirl later on.

Why is my pressure cooker steaming like this?

Sorry if this is an obvuos fix, this is my first tume using one of these and no instruction manual.

Very loud and lots of steam coming from hole in the knob. When i push the knob down it stops. Should I keep it pushed down? Is the heat too high? See video.

Lip piercing advice

Wondering if I would look good with a Medusa or a Vertical Labrum...my lips are slightly asymmetrical and also not super full. Which one suits me better?

I drew the piercings in my phone so they might not be size or placement accurate lol.
