Image 1 — Anybody want this piece of shit? I'm done. 6 rebuilds and the panels STILL WONT FLUSH! I regret selling my 2.5 thinking 2.1 was superior and Maybe it was but it's not now. I'm going back to M2

Rebuilt 2.1 3 times, still having panel fit and bulge issues. Waited a month for this.

Looking for advice and after reading some reports sounds like I'm in for a month of fighting with Formd to do anything.

Could anyone help me with this Times Picayune archive? Trying to find an issue with me and my Dad who passed away on the front cover and the attached article.

  • He died a year ago and I found out the times has a library archive but I haven't had a New Orleans address since Katrina. I just want it printed out so I can personally print and laminate it - I moved to California in my early 20s and have maybe 2 pictures of me in adulthood with him and nothing from our childhood for obvious reasons.

Here's the details

We were dressed in skeleton outfits, it was apparently a New Orleans staple? I can't remember but I'd love to actually remember. I was 9 at the time so to me I was playing follow the leader.

Has 4 of us on the cover I think, if not 3.

The outfits were black suits with a skeleton painted on the front and back

I think i had a flag I was carrying

1999 to 2000, it's kind of a blur but I was in 4th grade from 1999 to 2000 at Sherwood Forest Elementary so the issue was for that school year so August 99 to June/May 00

I get this is a huge ask to have someone use their time but even if someone could help me access the archive you'd make me crazy happy.

Question: can anyone explain why so many of you end up damaging your lives from league? No judgment but I see so many people over the years with that same sentiment?

Again, ZERO judgment. Yes I game but honestly COVID got me hooked on cycling and kayaking, I like doing math for fun (yes, believe it or not this can be a hobby, I'm doing an algebra 2 workbook for fun lol) and my BF got me into museums, art and hiking because he's more into that.

Gaming is def just a wind down and most times I just don't have the energy to expend so I don't bother.

But I can't help but look at several friends, this board and general testimonials about how League just sucks up and disrupts peoples lives so easily? That friend (more like associate at this point) I mentioned is still posting to YouTube league battles that get 5-20 viewers nearly daily. Dudes life is league, weed, repeat with zero prospects in life to do anything but ranking up.

Then I come here casually (I have over several accounts) and holy shit, league is still fucking up lives like nothing. What is it about this game that make people dump these insane hours into it that their real lives just become seperate?
