What would happen if he hunted Red John and viceversa? Red John don't know Dexter's identity, only that "The Bay Harbor Butcher" is coming for him.

im oficially a s6 glazer.

im at s7 ep3 and without a doubt s6 is the best season and the best version of Jane's character, a man on a mission at first, a lost man later and a found man at the end. just perfect, with the time skip and everything, also "My Blue Heaven" is an underrated episode in my opinion.

How far fetched really is a Mentalist movie or spin off in the future considering how the series has blown up again?

I know Simon Baker said nah but i think he wanted to promote scarpetta and he didn't really even wanted to talk about the mentalist or even consider it then, but with time...? Or maybe a spinoff? idk i just like the series so much i'd love new content.

Toyotaro hear me out.

What if Future Gohan returned to DBS… and Vegeta was the one who finally saved Goku?

I’ve been thinking about a Dragon Ball Super arc that could honestly become one of the darkest and most emotional stories in the franchise.

Imagine this:

Whis senses Gohan's ki in the future after his soul entered inside a temporal rift created when Zeno erased Trunks’ future timeline.

When the Z fighters find out, they immediately ask Whis to save him, after a bit of back and forth, he agrees, arguing the oracle told him about the arrival of a new warrior to their lives, and Future Gohan returns to life, and as Goku is literally the Zeno´s best friend, there´s no problem with two gohans in the same timeline.

So Future Gohan becomes part of the crew that trains on Bills´s planet and one of the Z fighters, but there is only one "problem"
Future Gohan slowly starts becoming the emotional center of the story, as his progresses rapidly due to his innate fight iq and potential (and being able to get his potential unlocked, being able to train with more powerful warriors than him, seeing that a power like the one present Gohan has is reachable to him due to him knowing that Gohan went 7 years without training and rapidly became that powerful, etc...)

But he slowly becomes the center of attention not because he’s stronger than Goku.
But because he represents what a true protector looks like.

This version of Gohan:

  • never stopped training,
  • fought his entire life for survival,
  • lost everyone,
  • carries trauma and responsibility,
  • and still keeps going.

Meanwhile DBS has been subtly showing Goku becoming more and more “Saiyan” and less human.
He’s obsessed with limits, battle, instinct, Ultra Instinct, stronger opponents, etc.

So now imagine Goku watching everyone admire Future Gohan more:

  • Trunks (who was brought back to reunite temporarily with Gohan, as timeline godly rules dont exist in this what if) sees him as a hero,
  • Broly respects him,
  • even the gods acknowledge him.

And for the first time, Goku starts feeling something ugly:
fear of being replaced when he himself is not ready to pass the mantle.

Not in a childish way.
In an existential way.

Then the real villain appears:
an ancient magic user who actually created the temporal rift, who corrupts hearts by amplifying emotions already hidden inside people.

He doesn’t brainwash Goku.
He amplifies what’s already there:

  • pride,
  • obsession,
  • Saiyan instinct,
  • fear of becoming irrelevant.

And THAT creates the scariest version of Goku possible:
not Goku Black,
not mind control,
but the real Goku losing his humanity.

What I love most about this idea is that:
Future Gohan, Present Gohan, Broly, even fusion warriors can’t stop him.

Because they all try to defeat him with power.

But Vegeta understands the truth:
Goku doesn’t need to be beaten.
He needs to be saved from himself.

So the final battle becomes Vegeta vs Goku.

Not for pride.
Not to prove who’s stronger.
But because Vegeta is finally the one person who truly understands Goku.

And honestly?
That would complete Vegeta’s entire character arc.

For years Vegeta wanted to surpass Goku.
Then catch up to him.
Then understand him.

But this time he becomes:
the man who saves Goku when nobody else can.

And the best part is:
Vegeta wouldn’t win because he’s stronger.

He’d win because he embraced his humanity while Goku lost himself trying to become the ultimate Saiyan.

I genuinely think this could be one of the best DBS arcs ever if written properly.

▲ 73 r/Dexter

I'm i the only one who felt the last REAL conversation between these two was contradictory with how he thought she would react to all the things happening to him in new blood?

>!I mean, in Dexter's mind in new blood, Deb is practically incapable of understanding him/feel sorry for him, making him feel guilty all the time, while the last conversation of them two was deb practically exonerating him for what happened to her, being VERY understanding and loving and telling him to go and be happy on Argentina with Hannah and Harrison, i get the new blood Deb is not the actual Deb, just a construct on Dex's mind to help him go through life without killing anyone, but i dont know, even with all the guilt in the world i bet he remembers the last conversation with her, i wish they made her a bit more sweet on new blood, hopefully we'll get that in the future with resurrection!<
