How do I get my mother in law not to breed her byb mini American bully?

The dogs name is Bauser (Bowser) he’s a backyard bred mini American bully, and is now three years old with no papers whatsoever approve his lineage that my mother-in-law got from a relative who was breeding them but in the three year time span, the breeder has already stopped breeding and no longer does it which to me says something but this dog pees and poops all around the house to mark territory so when we wake up in the morning, there’s four or 5 per marks and three areas where he pooped. He is unneutered and she says it’s because she wants to breed him, but everybody in the family is telling her to get him neutered because he’s got health issues and he’s backyard bred so he has not even a good example of the breed. He can’t even compete in shows because he can’t prove his lineage and he doesn’t have AKC papers.

Nipping

This is now the 2nd instance but my one year old GSD has nipped someone at first I thought it was a one off and I had handled correctly but he did it again both were involving when someone came into the door and then the 1st one was they came into and he nipped at their thigh I grabbed a hold of him and let them pass by and he tried again but failed bc I was holding him and I put him the kennel and the 2nd one he came running to check it out bc I didn’t open the door and the person turned around and he nipped them on the butt and tried going back for a second time so I corrected it then put him in the kennel.

Dog Breed Recommendation

My husband and I are looking into a new dog I really don’t have any restrictions because we live on a farm and I own a German shepherd currently so wouldn’t mind a high drive breed. However my husband wants a nice big cuddly dog like his bamboo pillow after he fell in love with Newfoundlands and Bernese Mountain Dogs but I’m not totally sold on the size and the slobber if I’m not mistaken Bernese are a tad smaller and in my opinion a better option between the two. But what would satisfy both of our wants?

Edit: He prefer our next dog to be Black and I say around 100lb is good but color is not a deal breaker. He just wants a very fluffy dog that he can cuddle that would be a substantial cuddle buddy for his 6’1 body.

Is she a double Merle?

My roommate’s father got this puppy a while back. She’s now four months old and I told him the dangers of a Merle French bulldog in a double merle, but still got one anyways. The breeder is from California. The breeder sold her to him saying that she was a purebred and he doesn’t know what the parents look like and she was about six grand. She’s a long haired merle frenchie.

Would I be wrong to purchase a dog from this breeder?

Hello,

so I was looking into Dobermans and I know that they have a huge COI percentage, and I do know that they are at risk of DCM and bloat however, I did come across a breeder who hasn’t let me know exactly what he’s out bred to because I’m not a puppy purchaser yet but when the time comes, he’s willing to tell me what he outbreak because his Dobermans are Merle.

  1. He does not do the double Merle.
  2. He does DNA testing and tests for OFA‘s.
  3. Have a lower risk for DCM and a lower COI.
  4. He says that he does not breed based off of color and is just looking to produce proper structure Dobermans with good temperaments and hopefully lower the DCM and COI rates.

Edit: I had asked him how do you prove that your breeding operation contributes to the breed because it can’t be showing a ring cause it’s not a purebred and he said “No, I can’t definitively prove structure the same way an AKC conformation champion can. What I can do is demonstrate it through evaluations, movement, health testing, pedigree analysis, and the consistency of what my dogs produce over time. Ultimately, people can look at the dogs and decide for themselves.”

Edit 2: I will not be getting a puppy from this breeder however, I just wanted to see if it was considered outcrossing like LUA Dalmatians. Rather than byb
