The fatigue isn't even like normal fatigue

Because even though I take it before bed (with dessert for the calories) for this very reason, it's not a "comfortable" tiredness if that makes sense. It still takes me forever to fall asleep after tossing and turning even while I'm actively feeling the fatigue side effect. I think it's to do with the muscle tension and restlessness that ironically comes with it.

My psychiatrist just doubled my dose from 20 mg to 40 mg starting last night, and I believe that my newly prescribed clonidine was the only reason I was able to get any sleep. And once I build a tolerance to that, I'm not sure what's going to happen.

Drop an emoji and I'll give you a song to rate 1 through 10

I'll randomize my playlist and whatever plays first is what you'll rate. I have some well-known songs, lesser known songs, and songs of many genres. However, I have no metal, and very limited rock/country. I have a lot of pop, folk, alternative/indie, R&B, rap, and hip-hop.

Edit: this thread made me realize I have more rock than I thought lol

Customers/food delivery drivers who lean on the counter at restaurants

Like dude, it's not gonna make your food come out any faster. All you're doing is blocking the way of any other people who come up to my counter. Go sit down or stand back. I promise I'm not gonna ignore you when your food is done lol I'm going to bag it and call your order out

Should I ask my doctor about taking this at night instead?

This medicine has done wonders for my depression, but like an hour or two after I take my pill, I become extremely drowsy. If I'm home, I end up napping for a few hours and if I'm working I can barely keep my eyes open. I read on one of these threads that someone took it in the evening with a bowl of cereal or ice cream so they could get the calories in with the pill.

Has anyone else had to do this? Again I really like what this medicine has done for me the past few weeks I've been on it but that side effect can't be ignored 😅

I had a pretty adverse reaction to some medicine I took. Haven't eat or slept in days and today I purchased an unaliving kit on Amazon but promptly returned it and checked myself into the ER.

I was given some much-needed Xanax to relax, and now I'm thinking a little more clearly about my options. The doctor reassured me that any inpatient treatment would be VOLUNTARY but I'm well aware that if I refuse it, they can contest it and I can still be admitted against my will. But I'm ok with going, especially since I've been cleared for temporary medicaid to help me pay for it. I just want to get better and stop feeling this way. To clarify, I've been in a deep depressive/anxious spiral for a while but lately everything has just come to a head, especially since I responded so poorly to an NDRI when I really probably needed an SSRI or benzo.

It doesn't mean I'm not a little scared. I've stayed in these facilities as a teen, but I'm hoping if I reframe my mindset, I can get the help I need. One of the hospitals they're talking about putting me in helped me a lot, and hopefully that is the one they can put me in.

My family is willing to help me pay some bills during my time missed at work. I have a great support system. I just hope I can finally put an end to this inner madness.
