Minimalist screens

Hi community! I’m struggling with conversion rate of my app, and I thought maybe my screenshots are not attractive enough. My app is minimalistic, and I think AI screenshots will not suit the app, so I use very simple ones. But I’m afraid that they are too conservative and old fashioned. What do yoy think? Maybe you could share some advice?

How to deal with 0 growth in users?

Hi everyone. I think many of you had days where no one downloaded your app, and maybe several days straight. How you deal with it? Don’t you just close the project and return to previous life?😔

What do you think of screenshots?

Hi everyone, my app is super minimal to-do app. I don’t like AI pictures, and I also don’t use AI in app. Do you think of my screenshots are convincing? Not sure they work for ASO well. If you are interested, the app is here

TikTok marketing

Hi everyone! I’m new to tiktok marketing, and interested in how you promote your apps in tiktok, and what videos you make. Do you use hashtags or anything specific? Please share in the comments TikTok channels with your apps and maybe some tips 🙃

Permission for notifications

Hi everyone. Recently I built a new to-do app, and noticed low return rate. I guess the app should remind about itself, but when is the right time to ask permission for notifications? I guess if you ask right when user just downloaded the app, probably he will press don’t allow. For example, I ask when user sets reminder for the first time, so he knows the context. But what if he does not set reminder? I want to know how you deal with this problem, and if you are not an app builder, how do you react to such permissions?

How to increase retention?

Hello app builders! From analytics I saw that retention in my to-do app is very low, like people stop using it , even if they like the UI. Some said that they just forgot about the app. But I don’t wanna annoys users with notifications, and I don’t wanna ask permission for notifications from the first day. I think many will probably press “don’t allow” and I will lose that audience.

How do you deal with this problem? Can you share some advice?

Do you use shared to-do lists?

I am building a to-do app which is useful for one person, but I see that some apps have like family sharing or lists for two people. Who has experience in using them? Is it useful or just new thing for a week and no one uses after?

Personally I prefer to text others rather than sharing a task. It seems too introverted for me lol

Need advice on design

Hi everyone, recently I made a to-do app with notes and calendar. I tried to make it very minimalistic, and added only primary functions. But I wonder if others like the design. What do you think?

Need advice on Pro version

Hey developers! I recently got my app on the App Store. I wanted app that has notes, tasks and calendar in one, so I built it. It’s super minimalistic and has no onboarding. The app is totally free now, but I am working on making paid version. Can anyone help with advice? Maybe you are productivity app lover and just love testing new apps. What can I add? The link to app is here.

Do you need AI in to-do apps?

Hey guys, right now I am building to-do app with calendar and notes in it. I know that many of you (and me) don’t like onboardings, so I made it without onboarding and account creation. iCloud sync is available based on your iOS account, so no need to create one.

I see that some to-do and note apps try to predict and give suggestions? I personally get irritated by that. What about you? Do you use AI in your apps, and do you find it helpful?

App for planning your day

Hey guys,

I recently made an app which is notes, to-dos, calendar in one. The basic problem is that we usually use separate apps, and they are full of unnecessary functionality. I took just the basics, and made absolutely free app for iOS. I think minimalist will enjoy in the first place.

For what I can take money

Hey community of ProductivityApps!

I am building an app that includes tasks, calendar and notes in one. The main goal is to show what has user for Today. So it basically has 3 tabs. Everything in app is free now, but I want to monetise it. What features are usually in Premium? What can be added in app, so people will be ready pay for it?

Link for app is in comments.
