Better to increase exposure or maintain strict OPOL?
My husband and I live in the UK. He is a native Irish speaker and we are attempting OPOL with our newborn daughter (me = English; my husband = Irish).
I'm conscious that our daughter's exposure to Irish from my husband isn’t likely to be sufficient for fluency. My husband is the only Irish speaker regularly in her life; she isn't likely to see her Irish family more than a couple of times per year.
I have A2 or B1 Irish. Should I speak some Irish to our daughter as well, to increase her exposure to the language, or will that just confuse her?
