Better to increase exposure or maintain strict OPOL?

My husband and I live in the UK. He is a native Irish speaker and we are attempting OPOL with our newborn daughter (me = English; my husband = Irish).

I'm conscious that our daughter's exposure to Irish from my husband isn’t likely to be sufficient for fluency. My husband is the only Irish speaker regularly in her life; she isn't likely to see her Irish family more than a couple of times per year.

I have A2 or B1 Irish. Should I speak some Irish to our daughter as well, to increase her exposure to the language, or will that just confuse her?

Any disadvantages of babywearing?

My 6-week-old baby loves being worn, and it's great for me since it means I can easily go places and get things done.

It almost seems to good to be true, which has me wondering: I know there are significant benefits to babywearing, but are there any downsides in terms of the baby's comfort, safety (assuming TICKS is followed), development, etc?

Edited as I used the wrong flair initially.

Fit check - Ergobaby Embrace

Any tips? The first time I had her in this carrier, the back panel came neatly to the nape of her neck, but I haven't been able to recreate that since!

Baby is 5 weeks old, last weighed 2 weeks ago but probably about 3.9kg now.

Thank you :)

How to have a nice time in the heatwave?

My baby is 5 weeks old and when it's been cooler we've been having a lovely time: we've been to music in the local park, had some nice walks, and spent time in our local pub beer garden.

But none of this is possible when it's 30+ degrees outside. I can't even put her in the baby carrier (which she loves) because I'm worried she'll overheat. In the last heatwave, we just didn't leave the house for four days, but I was going stir-crazy by the end of it.

I'm thinking of baby cinema tomorrow but even that would mean a half hour walk home at midday, which might be dicey. And I can't drive anywhere because my car is ancient and doesn't have air con.

So, any ideas for nice things to do when it's so hot?
