If you don't know why, he's talking about the mechas in two of the lines i gave him. In the first film he was in, he was with mechagodzilla. So I thought it would be cute if he was talking about them

Rodan is in love with mechagodzilla. Godzilla and mothra are in love after 1 and a half days of meeting, and Kong is not aware that shimo and biollante have a crush on him.
