Mock scores vs real ACCA MA exam

I’ve done 3 MA mocks and scored:

Mock 1: 39%

Mock 2: 43%

Mock 3: 43%

I felt the second one was harder, but I’m not sure how these compare to the actual ACCA exam.

For anyone who has recently taken MA, how did your mock scores compare to your real exam score? And should I be worried about consistently getting around 40–45%, or is it realistic to push this above 50% with more revision and practice?

Just looking for some honest advice.

Got the Samsung M70H 75" for ₹1.02L, did I overpay?

I recently bought the 75" Samsung M70H for ₹1,02,000 and now I'm having second thoughts lol.

I wanted a big TV for movies, shows and gaming, and after looking around I ended up going with the M70H. But now I'm seeing people talking about Mini-LEDs, OLEDs, better panels etc. and I'm wondering if I made the wrong choice at this price.

For anyone who knows TVs, is ₹1.02L actually a decent price for the 75" M70H in India? And is there anything significantly better around this price that I should have gone for?

Would you guys keep it or try to return/exchange it?

Does anyone remember the two foreigner-looking guys who used to roam around Sangli before COVID?

I remember seeing them all over the city for years. They were usually carrying suitcases and bags, rarely talked to anyone, and one of them was bald. They looked a bit homeless but seemed to be together all the time.

After the lockdown, they just seemed to disappear, and I've never seen them again.

Does anyone know who they were, where they came from, or what their story was? I feel like almost everyone in Sangli had seen them at least once.Just curious

How realistic is it to find an accounting job in Ireland as an international student?

my_qualifications: BCom final year, ACCA self-study (2 papers cleared), 2 years of relevant business/accounting experience.

Planning to apply for UCD MSc Accounting & Finance for Sep 2027. Main reason is the 7 ACCA exemptions and 2 year stay back.

Situation is that people around me who came to Ireland for Masters are struggling to find jobs after graduating. Scares me even though I know accounting might be different.

For people working in accounting/finance in Ireland — was the job hunt manageable as an international or is it as bad as it sounds?

How worth it is Ireland MSc Accounting for an Indian student?"

my_qualifications - Final year BCom, doing ACCA self-study (cleared 2 papers). Also have 2 years of relevant business/accounting experience. Planning to apply for UCD MSc Accounting & Finance for Sep 2027.

Main reason for UCD — 7 ACCA exemptions and 2 year stay back after graduation.

Brother did MS in Ireland (data engineering) and has been struggling with jobs since graduating. Scares me even though I know accounting is a different field.

For people who've done Masters in Ireland — was the job hunt actually manageable as an international student or is it as bad as Reddit makes it sound?

**Indian student considering UCD MSc Accounting & Finance — how's the job market actually?

Final year BCom, doing ACCA self-study (cleared 2 papers so far). Looking at UCD MSc Accounting & Finance for Sep 2027, mainly because of the 7 ACCA exemptions and 2 year stay back.

Brother did an MS in Ireland (different field) and has been struggling with jobs — makes me nervous about the whole thing.

For people who've done accounting/finance in Ireland — is it actually doable to land a job as an international student or is it as bad as people say?

**Indian BCom final year student planning ACCA + Masters abroad — is my plan solid or am I overcomplicating this?**

Hey everyone, wanted to get some outside perspective on my situation because I feel like I've been going in circles.

So I'm currently in my final year of BCom (Shivaji University, India). Simultaneously doing ACCA — cleared BT (68) and FA (78) via self-study, MA is next. Plan is to finish a few more papers before applying for a Masters abroad for Sep 2027 intake.

Looking at either:

- **UCD Ireland** — MSc Accounting & Finance (7 ACCA exemptions confirmed, 2 year stay back after graduation)

- **Erasmus Rotterdam** — MSc Accounting, Auditing & Control (1 year stay back, but Schengen access, cheaper living than Dublin)

My concern is the job market. I have a brother who did an MS in Ireland and has been struggling to find work for a while now — though he's in data engineering which I know is a different story. Still messes with my head.

Everywhere I read people say Ireland is "oversaturated with Indians" and accounting is "saturated" — but when I actually look at job postings, demand seems decent especially for part-qualified ACCA people. Confused about what's real vs Reddit doom.

Family runs a business back home so I do have a fallback, but I genuinely want to try the international route.

Questions:

  1. For those working in Ireland/Netherlands — how is the actual market for ACCA part-qualified/newly qualified people right now?

  2. Is the "saturated" talk specific to generic grads or does it apply to ACCA qualified people too?

  3. Ireland vs Netherlands for accounting — any strong opinions?

Any honest takes appreciated, not looking for cope.
