CT4V Blackwing - Slow????

Does a stock GT2 AWD really pull ahead of a CT4V Blackwing from a dig? I’ve seen a few videos and it’s hard to believe those stingers were on a stock tune but they claim they are other than intakes & exhaust. I know the Blackwing catches up but damn…

Anyone else’s free chatGPT showing the above? I’ve uninstalled/reinstalled, logged in and out, nothing works. The only option that’s not grayed out is plugins. Cant upload anything. This has been going on for week

RaceChip

Anyone have experience with RaceChip as opposed to JB4? Is it still “traceable” by the dealer? I have an extended warranty so trying to debate if it’s worth it to unlock a little more horsepower. Just came across the RaceChip tonight and I don’t know much about it.

Thanks

Heads Up Display - Color Change

I’ve seen a few videos of people with different color heads up displays. I have a 2023 GT2 and don’t see where that is an option in the heads up display settings?

392 Alchemi

Wanted to show off my 392 Alchemi. Bought with only 1,000 miles. Surprised the exhaust is as quiet as it is and no 360 camera is a bummer. As a first time Durango owner, anything to know? Already have alot of security things done. OBDII lock, steering wheel lock, neutral switch lock, dashcam with parking mode, Uconnect tracking, and the key fob lockout from the dealer. Installing IGLA soon. Mainly looking for any quirks or other things I should know.

Thanks!!!!

3D Printed Snorkels - Selling * New*

Selling my 3D printed snorkels for $100. Never installed. My buddy suprised me with Velossatech for my birthday. I know was trying to sell my sway bars but I had them installed by another shop for $300 and never got back to anyone. Sorry! I will ship them to you for free. Cash App/ Venmo or PayPal is fine if anyone is interested. Paid $180 for these plus a $75 tariff from Etsy, I’d rather make something back than nothing 😂.

Intake Debate

Finally ready to add intakes & snorkels and I have searched this sub and didn’t really find a definitive answer but maybe there isn’t one? But anyway, what intake options available provide the best sound and reliability? Staying on a stock tune as well. My research is below

Takeda: I know this is a popular choice being fully enclosed to reduce heat soak, but can you hear any turbo noises when you remove the plugs in the back?

AEM: was originally going to go this route due to the plastic piping but I’ve been reading of some of these intake tubing cracking/breaking

BMS: they look very cheap but I could be wrong?

Injen: these provide the best sound I think but what about heat soak?

K&N: this is my current choice but is there a concern with the aluminum tubing and also the cone filters being oiled and messing up the MAF sensors?

Any insight is appreciated

New Eibach Sway Bars- Selling

All,
I love my stinger and stinger community. I bought front and rear Eibach sway bars, and unfortunately the shop who offered to install them for a very good price now jumped their price up to $2000 as they say it’s extremely labor intensive. I’ve called around to other shops and I’ve received even higher quotes. I have the front and rear Eibach sway bars, completely unopened and brand new. I have decided to sell them. $300 for both and you will pay shipping. Located on the east coast in the tri-state area. Please message me if you are interested as I would like to use the money to buy cold air intakes instead.

Thanks 🙏

Durango 392 Exhaust Question

Bought a 2024 392 Alchemi with only 1000 miles. My mom has a 2025 R/T Tow N Go and her exhaust is *much* louder than mine on the SRT. I thought it had a loud exhaust like the R/T Tow N Go? Window sticker lists it as a “high performance exhaust” but it almost sounds non existent? Or does the SRT have a lot of sound deadening in the cabin?

Tune vs Stock - Extended Warranty

Is a LAP3 ECU tune /JB4 worth the risk of reliability and warranty loss? Like is there really *that* much power being left on the table while still being reliable? I’m currently stock with MBRP active catback, and upgraded brakes & sway bars. I have an extended warranty but I know if i tune the ECU I’ll loose the warranty. I’m wondering if I should say fuck it and tune it to like a stage 1/2 ?

I already have an MBRP catback with the valves permanently open, and I’m on a stock tune. My car has gone into limp mode a few times already, and I keep going back and forth about adding any kind of cold air intake as I want more turbo noise. Will I be miserable with the car going into limp mode on WOT everytime if I add intakes? I honestly thought I researched this car enough before buying but this limp mode shit is really discouraging. I also can’t tune my car as I have an extended warranty until 100,000 miles. Currently at 15,000 miles. I know the 22+ stingers are more sensitive but is there anything you can do to stop this from happening on a stock tune?
