Little quick update

I know it’s only been five days, but I just wanted to show everyone how my ears were doing. There’s no redness, there’s no swelling. It doesn’t hurt at all; actually, I know it’s not supposed to. I’m actually loving it though. I’ve been rinsing with warm water two times a day. I haven’t taken it out yet because I’m not sure if I should wait a week because I’ve seen some people saying befor taking it out and massaging it. I always make sure the area is dry. Anything questions or concerns please let me know.

Good dye, young one, for green.

I try to find any green hair dye I can. I always go with Shamrock from Ion, but I really wanted to try to see what all the hype was with the brand Good Dye Young by Hayley Williams, and it is stunning. So I applied the colour over the already existing Shamrock green. I would say it is much more vibrant. The colour is very long-lasting as well. It shows even on darker hair. The only issue is I do think it’s quite expensive. It’s $28 for one tube! As Ion is around $15.

Started my stretching journey

I just started today. I’m putting in 14-gauge. It didn’t hurt. No problem with it not getting in. Took me less than a minute. I’m massaged with oil before on my ear and put some of the piercing oil in. There is currently no pain. I don’t have really any swelling. Any tips and tricks or advice are very much appreciated.

I’ve been seeing recently a lot of hate towards the aircraft maintenance program here.

I’m going to downsview campus this fall for airplane maintenance. I’ve been really excited, but also a bit nervous. However, I’ve seen a lot of posts talking about how bad the program is, and I’m curious to know any reasons why it might not be good.

(Anything other than the placement test)

Aircraft maintenance student tool kit.

This fall I will be attending an aircraft maintenance program, and I noticed that I must buy my own tools whenever I search up about what tools are needed. They never give an actual list, and they keep staying about student tool kits. They seem really expensive. Any information will be really helpful. Regarding costs and where I can purchase required tools.

English assessment test

Hello, I got this email from Centennial inviting me to take the English language skills assessment, and I’m not entirely sure if it’s mandatory or not, and I know it’s embarrassing, but I do have a learning disability, so would it be best if I go ahead with the assessment, or would it be better if I don’t and I take the COMM 160/161 course and then wait till next semester to take the comms 170/171 which would be the most reliable?

Cause would it help me more to take the COMM 160 course to gain more learning or should I just take the assessment and I will be COMMs 170/171

Question about apprenticeship

Hi I live in Ontario and this is for aircraft mechanics. I’m sorry if this is an out of touch question and it’s pretty embarrassing to say.

Right now in where I live there is a huge problem with jobs like there are not any right now and I just graduated high school so I’ve been trying to get a job for 2 years and I’ve had no luck if somehow I can’t get a job would that affect my resume for when I have to look for amt apprenticeships jobs after I graduated college I feel like maybe i will land a job by then just don’t know what to do if I don’t by then

I'm going to Centennial next year for aircraft maintenance. For the safety boots and coveralls, should I buy them before school, and do you use the steel-toe boots on the first day along with coveralls??

I’m also a female in this field I know it’s very low number but any tips on where to get women’s coveralls I’m 5,4 not very tall and all the ones I’ve seen are men’s and way too long for big for me any recommendations where to check?
