Custom hand-drawn artwork for your team!

I’d love to draw some of these for your team! You tell me their heights, numbers, last names and hairstyles, then show me your team jersey and socks, and I draw it just for you!

In the sky, I drew the top 100 NHL players of all time, cheering for the kids in the backyard rink. The title is “The Dream Begins Here”. My original drawing of this piece is in the Hockey Hall of Fame’s permanent art collection.

Let me know if you’re interested. My website is at https://www.GameDayPencil.com or https://www.JeremyBresciani.com if you’d like to see more of my artwork.

My Pencil Artwork for BC Lions fans

This is my pencil drawing, inspired by the proud history of the BC Lions and their strong fanbase. I tried to capture the feeling of being a BC Lions fan as fans walk to BC Place on gameday.

Ghosted in the sky above the stadium are six of the many great players that have captured the hearts of Lions' fans since their inaugural season in 1954. From left to right: Joe Kapp, Willie Fleming, Merv Fernandez, Lui Passaglia, Sean Millington and Geroy Simon. Each of these players has won atleast 1 Grey Cup as a Lion and represent each of the Lions' 6 Grey Cup seasons.

Fan jersey numbers pay tribute to these players as well as Jim Young, Doug Flutie, Travis Lulay, Paul McCallum, Darren Flutie, Jason Clermont, Brent Johnson, Norm Fieldgate, By Bailey, Alan Wilson, Jamie Taras, Ted Gerela, Bill Munsey, Dave Dickenson, Cory Philpot, Larry Crawford, Barron Miles, Damon Allen, James Parker, Ray Alexander and Ryan Phillips.

Ghosted in the sky behind Joe Kapp and Willie Fleming is a game scene from Empire Stadium where the Lions played from 1954 to 1982 before moving to BC Place.

My Saddledome Pencil Artwork

I drew this back in 2011, but it seems fitting to post it again, with Saddledome in its final season.

This is my pencil drawing inspired by the Calgary Flames and its strong fanbase.  The piece emphasizes the C of Red tradition as fans walk to the Saddledome, all wearing red jerseys numbered to represent of some of the most influential players in Flames' history.  Ghosted in the sky above the flaming dome are seven of the many great players that have captured the hearts of Flames' fans throughout their proud history; with emphasis on their magical Stanley Cup run in 1989.  From left to right: Mike Vernon, Joe Nieuwendyk, Lanny McDonald, Theoren Fleury, Al MacInnis, Miikka Kiprusoff and Jarome Iginla.  Harvey the Hound welcomes fans to the game.

My NEW Oilers Pencil Artwork

I lived in Edmonton for 22 years and am still a devoted fan. Some of you may have seen my original Oilers Game Day piece I drew back in 2011. I am now working on a new piece which intends to capture the whole history, including the new arena, the players in between the dynasty and Nuge and, of course, the guys who have represented the Oilers over the last 15 years. I can’t believe it’s been that long since I drew the first one!

Here is the arttwork mockup as well as how far along I’ve come in drawing it. Swipe left to see all images.

I want to draw real Oilers fans into it to make it authentic, so let me know if you want me to draw you in. No cost for that.

I might hold off finishing it until McDavid hoists the Cup as it would look so much better that way :)

Thank you very much to everyone who has supported my artwork over the past 16 years! :)

The Dream Begins Here Pencil Artwork

This is my pencil drawing celebrating the NHL’s Top 100 players of all time (The NHL created this list for their 100th Anniversary). The original is 3’x4’ and a part of the Hockey Hall of Fame’s permanent art collection. Mute this video and see if you can name them all! I also personalize prints of these by painting over the young player in his backyard rink to make the player look like you would like them to look, complete with any jersey in full colour and correct hairstyle.

Edit: Apparently a lot of people don’t like the voice I chose to read my artwork description. Guess I’m out of touch with humour because I thought it was funny. Sincerely sorry. I’ll record myself saying the names of these legends and replace the audio.

Should I draw one for Islanders Fans?

I’ve drawn 14 Game Day pieces for NHL teams now and would like to draw one for the Islanders if there is enough interest. At first glance they may just look like fans walking to the game, but I incorporate the whole history of the team through obvious things like drawing the original arena on the left and current arena on the right, to more hidden references of fan culture and moments in your teams history. Fan clothing, behaviors, signs, shoulder patches, objects, jersey numbers and their arrangement are all used to incorporate as much as possible about your experience as a fan base.

I want authentic fans to reference for the artwork, so If you’d like to be drawn in the original, please contact me. It costs nothing to be drawn into the artwork. Just take a photo walking away from the camera wearing your isles gear and I’ll for you into the artwork. My email is Gamedaypencil@yahoo.com or jeremy@jeremybresciani.com

Should I draw one for Islanders fans?

I drew this in pencil for Rangers fans. SORRY!! Who would like me to draw one for Islanders fans? You can be one of the fans in it too. Let me know! I love drawing these Game Day pieces. Below is a description just so you know how much detail and history I put into these.

This is my pencil artwork titled, "Broadway Blueshirts".  It took over 200 hours to draw.  Through this artwork, I intended to capture the complete history of the New York Rangers and its incredible fan base!

Fans are walking to Madison Square Garden III on the left, merged with the current Madison Square Garden IV on the right. Ghosted over the two arenas are eight legendary Rangers from their 96 years in the NHL. From left to right: Bill "The Original Ranger" Cook (1926-37), Andy Bathgate (1952-70), Jean Ratelle (1960-76), Rod "Mr. Ranger" Gilbert (1960-78), Eddie Giacomin (1965-76), Brian Leetch (1987-04), Mike Richter (1988-03) and Mark Messier (1991-04).

The main MSG IV billboard honors Rangers' legends Brad Park (1969-1976), Ron Greschner (1974-1990) and Henrik Lundqvist (2005-2020) under the text "FAST. PHYSICAL. RELENTLESS."

The second MSG IV Billboard honors Rangers' legend, Harry Howell (1953-1969) alongside the text "THIS IS NEW YORK HOCKEY".

Fan jersey numbers represent many more legends and all incarnations of the Rangers jersey. Although the fan in the center honors Mark Messier’s #11 jersey, he is arranged next to fans wearing #19 and #7 to honor the legendary “GAG Line” Goal-a-Game) of Vic Hadfield, Jean Ratelle and Rod Gilbert.

The fan wearing Rod Gilbert’s #7 also honors Frank Boucher.  Boucher wore #7 and centered the “Bread Line”.  This fan’s sleeve numbers are #6 on the left for Bun Cook and #5 on the right for Bill Cook, the Bread Line’s left and right wingers.

The fan wearing Bill Cook's #5 on the very first incarnation of a Rangers’ jersey (lighter blue) is carrying an autographed program from the last game ever played at MSG III, on February 11, 1968.

Super fans, "The Chief" and Dancing Larry are featured in the crowd on the left and right sides respectively.

A fan wearing a "POTVIN SUCKS" jersey is featured on the right side to pay tribute to the long-running tradition that began when Denis Potvin (#5) injured rookie Ulf Nilsson with "the hit" in 1979.   A fan wearing Nilsson’s #11 is directly above this fan.

Fans wearing jerseys #9 and #10 are in conversation, paying homage to Adam Graves accepting Pavel Bure's request to wear his (and Andy Bathgate's)  #9 for the last time before it was retired.

The MSG III marquee pays homage to the two Stanley Cup winning series versus the Toronto Maple Leafs (1933 and 1940).  They had to play all games in Montreal for their first Stanley Cup in 1928.

My pencil drawing for Hockeytown

This is my pencil drawing for Detroit Red Wings fans. In this piece I tried to capture the feeling of being a Red Wings fan on game day as fans walk toward both the Olympia Stadium (left) and the Joe Louis Arena (right). I drew this is 2015, so at that time, Joe Louis was the current arena.

Ghosted in the sky above the arenas are eight of the many great players that have captured the hearts of Wings' fans since their inaugural season in 1926. From left to right: Gordie Howe, Terry Sawchuk, Alex Delvecchio, Sergei Fedorov, Niklas Lidstrom, Steve Yzerman, Henrik Zetterberg and Pavel Datsyuk. Fan jersey numbers pay tribute to these players as well as many more, while also representing all incarnations of jersey design throughout Wings' history, including their early years when they were known as the Cougars and then Falcons.

Head Ice Manager and Zamboni Driver at Joe Louis Arena, Al Sobotka, welcomes fans to the game on the right while swinging an octopus over his head in celebration of a tradition that dates back to 1952. A young fan in the center also carries a toy "Al" octopus, the Red Wings unofficial mascot. I included two octopus (16 tentacles) in this artwork to symbolize the 16 playoff wins an NHL team needs to win the Stanley Cup. In final tribute to the octopus tradition, the fan wearing 8 is also wearing a cap bearing the logo of Superior Fish Company, a fish market store that carries the O-Fish-Al Octopi Supply.

The fan wearing legendary tough guy, Bob Probert's 24 also sports a cap bearing a skull & crossed-hockey sticks logo found on one of Probert's game worn t-shirts. RIP Mr. Probert.

The fans wearing Yzerman's 19 and Konstantinov's 16 jerseys bear the "Believe" shoulder patch the Red Wings wore during the 1997-1998 season in honor of Vladimir Konstantinov & Sergei Mnatsakanov's tragic accident.

The fan wearing Gordie Howe's 9 is also sporting a "Mr. Hockey" cap.

Another fan is wearing a Journey cap in tribute to their song, "Don't Stop Believin". This song is played during the final minutes of Detroit Red Wings home games when it seems evident that the team will win. Played over the PA system, the song is muted so the crowd can sing the verse, "Born and raised in South Detroit."

The large flag on the left, in front of Olympia Stadium bears the logo of the Detroit Cougars while the large red flag on the right in front of the Joe bears the current logo of the Red Wings.

The billboard in front of Olympia Stadium announces the first game the Red Wings (bearing that name) played at the Olympia Stadium.

I hope you like it! It took me over 260 hours to draw.

Feeding Frenzy - a pencil drawing commissioned by the Cheechoo’s

Goodmorning!  I recently had the pleasure of drawing a piece of artwork commissioned by Jonathan Cheechoo’s Dad, Mervin Cheechoo.  I loved drawing it and wanted to share it with you.

This drawing was inspired by the proud history of the San Jose Sharks and their strong fanbase.  Through this piece, I attempted to capture the feeling of being a Sharks’ fan on game day as fans walk toward both the Cow Palace on the left and the SAP Center (The Shark Tank) on the right.

Ghosted in the sky above the arenas are eight of the many great players that have captured the hearts of Sharks’ fans since their inaugural season in the NHL in 1991: Owen Nolan, Patrick Marleau, Jonathan Cheechoo, Joe Thornton, Joe Pavelski, Logan Couture, Brent Burns and Macklin Celebrini.  Fan jersey numbers pay tribute to these players as well as many more of the greatest to ever don the Teal, Black and White.

Many references to Sharks’ fan culture and team history are made throughout the scene.  Three Sharks fans, on the far left, are doing the Shark Chomp with their arms.  A young fan carries a “Cheechoo Train” sign.  The Shark head entrance prop with flashing red eyes and lowered jaws is shown outside the arenas.  Prior to home games, the team enters the ice surface through the mouth, amid fog and dramatic lighting.  On the far right, S.J. Sharkie, the team mascot, is featured welcoming fans to The Shark Tank.
