Tech entrepreneur sues Charlotte county, federal agencies to build house in endangered species habitat

Instead of avoiding the project or paying the fees, the entrepreneur is now suing to both avoid the fees and end the Florida scrub jay's protections. The lawsuit is still alive in federal court.

Anybody know why Swing Theory isn’t playing at One Love Cafe anymore?

They used to play at it all the time, so I’m not sure what happened. And the bands they got now aren’t bad at all- opposite, actually- but Swing Theory was kinda the only swing band they had playing there. It just doesn’t feel the same now.

Rufio - Dipshit [This is a new mixed and mastered version of it. I’m still in disbelief that they’re back, and that they’re releasing a new EP on 8/7!]

Any local beekeepers in the area? Cause I think there might be a hive behind the Grain Wedding & Event Center

Was walking down S. Oak street and I heard a whole bunch of buzzing. Looked up, and I saw a swarm of bees flying around the back of the Grain Wedding & Event Center. I don’t know of any local beekeepers, but if anybody here does, they’re here.

Update: I called Grain yesterday, and I got a voicemail from them today. They are actually taking care of the situation.
