You go to search properties in Jamshedpur and see the prices are right up there but still end up getting substandard apartments for premium price which are not worth that price tag tbh.
Created an electro lounge version of this song with late night drive vibes.
Will be doing the darshan on the first day and keeping sightseeing on the 2nd day.
Reposting this because my earlier post missed out a few important details.
I'm 34, originally from Jamshedpur and currently working in IT in Bangalore.
Outside work, a big part of my life revolves around travel, road trips, trekking, mountains, nature, and exploring new places, which honestly I feel I will be able to do much more of if I be with someone who equally loves travel and the small small experiences just as much as I do. I genuinely enjoy experiencing local cultures, food, festivals, languages, and the diversity that different parts of India offer.
Music is another big part of my life. I love Bollywood/independent songs, sing regularly, and occasionally write songs as well.
Long term, I don't see myself spending my entire life chasing the usual metro-city routine. My dream is to eventually build a more location-independent lifestyle, continue working remotely, travel frequently, and perhaps settle somewhere greener, calmer, and closer to nature.
Because of that, I'm looking for someone who doesn't just want a partner, but also a companion for the journey ahead - someone excited by the idea of exploring new places, taking spontaneous trips, working from different locations, and building a life filled with experiences rather than just routines.
I come from an interfaith family. My father is Christian and my mother was Hindu, so religion isn't a barrier for me. I go to all places of worship so what matters more for me is compatibility, mutual respect, kindness, and having a similar outlook toward life.
Physically, I'm around 5'11" with an average lean build. I'm non-vegetarian and would ideally prefer someone who is comfortable with a non-vegetarian lifestyle as well.
What I'm looking for:
• A serious long-term relationship that can eventually lead to marriage
• Someone who works remotely (or has a flexible work lifestyle) and enjoys the freedom that comes with it
• A travel partner who's excited about exploring India and beyond
• Someone grounded, easy-going, and open-minded
• Someone who values experiences, growth, and building a meaningful life together
While age isn't the biggest factor, I generally connect better with someone a few years younger who shares a similarly active, curious, and travel-loving outlook on life.
If this sounds like the kind of future you'd enjoy too, feel free to reach out.
Looking for some good friends to explore some of the trekking places in Karnataka since the trekking season has also started.
A very casual fun take without much practice on this song which I just heard yesterday and loved it 🍹
Trying this out because everyone else seems to be trying this out :)
I’m 34, working in IT in Bangalore for several years now. Originally from Jamshedpur. I currently stay with my parents, and family matters a lot to me, though I also value personal space, emotional understanding, and building a peaceful life together.
I’d describe myself as calm, thoughtful, emotionally driven, and slightly old-school when it comes to relationships. I’m not the loud extroverted party type. I enjoy meaningful conversations, music, late-night chats, simple outings, and emotionally warm people. Once I’m comfortable with someone, I become very expressive, caring, playful, and honestly quite romantic at heart.
I think the softer and more romantic side of me naturally comes alive more in peaceful environments and genuine connections, which is probably why I’ve never fully connected with the rushed and overly fast-paced city lifestyle.
Music is a huge part of my life. I love Bollywood songs, and I sing as well. I also write songs sometimes. I connect deeply through emotions, conversations, and shared comfort more than flashy experiences.
Physically, I’m around 5’11”, average lean build.
Religiously, I come from an interfaith family — my dad is Christian and my mom was Hindu — so I’ve grown up visiting both churches and temples. Because of that, religion is genuinely not a barrier for me. What matters more to me is the person, their values, warmth, and emotional compatibility.
Outside work, I’m someone who loves mountains, nature, road trips, trekking, and the feeling of being out exploring life rather than being stuck in crowded city routines all the time. I honestly feel most alive while traveling, discovering quieter places, or spending time close to nature. Long term, I would love to eventually move away from metro chaos and settle somewhere calmer, greener, and more peaceful — maybe in the hills someday — while continuing remote work and building a slower, happier life.
I also feel deeply connected to culture, food, languages, and the diversity of India. Lately I’ve had a strong urge to explore North and East India much more deeply — not just as a tourist, but to genuinely experience local culture, food, traditions, festivals, nature, and real everyday life. Over time I’ve realized I feel more emotionally connected and comfortable closer to this side of the country and its cultural warmth.
Because of that, I’d genuinely prefer someone who either already works remotely or has a lifestyle/future vision that aligns with this kind of life — where experiences, peace, culture, travel, and emotional connection matter more than constantly chasing a fast city lifestyle. More than anything, I’m looking for someone who feels just as excited and alive imagining this kind of future together.
Over time I’ve also realized I’m not really drawn toward overly materialistic or superficial lifestyles. I appreciate simplicity, emotional maturity, kindness, affection, loyalty, and mutual effort much more.
What I’m looking for:
Someone genuine, emotionally available, affectionate, communicative, and grounded. Someone with whom everyday life feels peaceful and comforting, not exhausting. I value emotional connection a lot and would love a relationship where both people can truly become each other’s safe space.
I also personally feel that emotional compatibility matters much more than rigid age expectations, and I don’t mind an age gap if the connection feels real and natural.
Just hoping to find something honest that slowly grows into a deep bond.
If this resonates with you, feel free to reach out.
So the story is I'm currently in Bangalore, originally from Jharkhand but tbh I'm flexible anywhere in the north because I have remote work and more than anything I'd rather want to try and find a partner who also works remote since nothing gets better than that. I've been wanting to utilise this to my advantage and in the process I've come to realise nothing gets better than both partners having remote coz then you don't have to get tied to a city and it opens up such a broad horizon of places to explore together, remote work, workcation. Have seen so many couples where one partner has remote but still stuck in a metro because their partners have wfo. And if two remote partners join they can virtually fulfill all their travel passions together and also avoid the mindless metro life rat race. My personal passions include travels, treks, music, singing and I'm looking for someone who also wishes to utilise her life exploring her passions. Also I'm trying to plan and hopefully permanently move out of tier 1 city to a better and more livelier life in a tier 2 city or hopefully move base somewhere in the mountains (not too remote) from where we can also manage our careers and lives especially during the summer months and set base to tier 2 city in winters. If this resonates anywhere with you feel free to hit me up.
Contemplating having a one or two small cottage with a kitchen setup with the thought of having a small holiday home kind of setup for own use in the summer months in future for family or as a homestay option as I'm mostly having remote work and have the flexibility of working from any location. What could this cost come up to if I'm looking for a decent but not a lavish setup. Are there any resale options available too ? And can non locals own properties there ?
Thank you
Looking for good caterers who specialize primarily in Bengali food in Bangalore.
