Abu Garcia Vendetta 7'6 Heavy with a Abu Ambassadeur 5000 4 screw. I wanted a heavy rod to use for jigs as the tip would be more sensitive. Going to use it for carp and catfish also.
Abu Garcia Vendetta 7'6 Heavy. Going to being using it for bass jigs, carp and catfish. Probably could have went with a rod not as heavy for jigs but I wanted something more versatile. It cast a 3/8th jig with a trailer pretty good. Only thing I don't like is the handle is long but that's a personal preference. Decided to throw my old Ambassadeur 5000 on it.
Where I am fishing has a ton of bluegill and the moment you throw a red worm the bluegill are going crazy

I love catching shellcracker but November is the only month I can catch more then one in a trip but then it's 2 and that's it. Want to catch them more often in the winter, spring, summer and early fall.
Was using carp bait and let's say it stuck to everything. Got the reel cleaned but the cork on the rod is a pain in the butt to clean.
