Spring for latch on old tackle box?

Spring for latch on old tackle box?

I've used this as my tackle box for 20-some years. It was my grandfather's or great-grandfather's (not sure, I never met either). The latch on the left side won't latch because the inner metal spring is missing. Years ago, I was cleaning it and the metal spring piece somehow came out. At the time, I didn't know what it was and it has since disappeared. It looked like a small piece of bent metal. I'd love to get or make a replacement for it if anyone has any ideas. The emblem has washed away over time, but you can still see the general marking. As I recall, it was a Sears tackle box (?), which makes some sense considering my grandfather and great grandfather were from Chicago. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix it?

Any information about what this is?!

I'm not even sure if this is considered vintage (sorry if it's not), but I found this lure and was wondering if anyone knows who makes this and what this is? I can't see any markings on it so it might just be a generic brand.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Found Vintage Rod: ISO more info & opinions on keeping to refinish.

Found this 5.5ft Ryobi Fight Stick in a lake and cleaned it up a little with a brush. Looking for more info on the rod specs and opinions on whether it’s worth keeping and re-finishing to use.

Google searches have given me results on other Ryobi FinTek models, but none matching the “Fight Stick”. I’m most interested in the line rating and material. I’m only able to see “__(?)__ carbon composite”. Anyone have a link that may be helpful?

I’m most interested in keeping and using it because I think it was a cool find, and given the lack of google results it seems to be fairly unique. Is this something worth keeping to refinish (lightly sand, clean/replace guides, re-coat in epoxy), or would my time and money be better spent on a new rod and reel? Given the crud I scrubbed off, the rod has been submerged in northern MN water overwinter for at least 1-2yrs. Will this have ruined the rod material?

Help with Bobs Vintage Fishing Rods

“Uncle Bob” was a cool dude and pretty meticulous sort. You could not ask for a more friendly and talkative guy to hang out with. Unfortunately, we talked about lot of stuff, hunting, woodworking, but never got into the fishing gear which today I am scratching my head wondering why, as we both loved this hobby. Anyway He left me a bunch of fishing rods and gear I am slowly going through. Does anybody know anything about these rods they can share? Values, stories sure would appreciate it.

Broken Vintage Curado

Recently a family friend dropped off an old shimano curado bantam cu-200b5. I was going to go fish with it but I heard a rattle coming from inside the reel. I unscrewed the brake side to find the blue plastic brake part (sorry for butchering that so hard I don’t know what the proper term is) with all the little metal pins and red plastic feet was cracked and was missing 3 little pins. I tried multiple times to super glue it back together but to no avail. I have been searching for an aftermarket or original spool to replace the old one because this brake piece was part of the spool. Problem is I can’t find any online, what should I do? note the picture I posted is what it looked like after trying to fix it. I didn’t have any photos of what it looked like after opening it.
