Help me repair the open reel which my grandfather used when he was still here

Hello to anyone reading,

So I found the rod my grandfather used when he was still alive and thought it’d be cool to have it as one of my own.

For starters I really have no idea what I’m doing and with the help of AI managed to disassemble the reel. I noticed that atleast one of the gears has completely shattered.

If anyone can tell me what parts need to be replaced if I want this working again and if there’s any chance of getting them to a rod that is quite outdated. It atleast needs a deep cleaning done to it and a new gear that I know of.

The pictures speak for me as I have no clue lmao

Sorry for the very possible mistakes in my fishing-vocabulary and thanks for any replies :)

My Vintage starter kit. Victory box with NOS and used tackle

Longfellow travel rod, Victory tackle box and an assortment of tackle. Thinking about tossing the fly fishing kit in but im not sure. It all makes for a really nice shelf display though.

Fishing Rods with Broken Tip

I feel like this is a dumb question but I’m going to check if vintage two piece fishing poles with a broken tip have any value, use? I hate just tossing things. Wondering if the bottom piece would be useful to anyone?

It’s a Fenwick FS75

Grandad's Tackle Box

He dug this out along with a Browning Silaflex rod fitted with a Mitchell 300 reel so I could take my son fishing while here on vacation.

Says he was always better at collecting lures than he was at catching fish!

I don't know much about it but there is some pretty neat stuff in here, mostly in great shape.

Lots of wood, some "Creek Cub Pikie" lures, a Heddon "Tiny Crazy Crawler" and a promotional OV beer spoon.

Now I just need to figure out which one to fish locally with!

I’m in the process of learning about different vintage poles and reels. From the logo I believe this is vintage but I’d like to know at least a decade. 50’s, 60’s newer?

Also I’m noticing some rods have plain metal guides and others have ceramic inserts. Does that indicate age? Quality? Both?

Not vintage tackle, but I did have these frame jigs made for repairing Ambassadeurs

With Svangsta closed down, parts will dwindle in the coming years. Now I can fix misaligned frames and keep them running properly. A misaligned frame is the biggest performance robber of the Ambassadeur and no amount of fun parts will mask it. Top jig is for 4500-6500 sizes and the bottom for 1500-3500 sizes.

Anyone recognize this kind of vintage fishing rod?

Has a cork and wood handle. All one price except where you can unscrew the handle from the main rod portion. Not sure if it’s actually wood, bamboo or not but it kind of has a wood type look. I don’t see any markings but maybe at the top of the handle there was something that was rubbed/scratched off?

Help identify reel

I can’t find anything similar online, based on the line guide I believe it is a Hardy reel but there are no markings. It is clearly vintage and has an interesting enamel rainbow swirl color on the handle. Would love to figure out more about this reel! It’s super cool none the less!

What are these rods? (UK)

Acquired this pair of vintage rods. 11’6, around 2lb test curve, through action. standoff rings all of the same size ie butt ring is the same as all the others, tip ring threaded for quiver tip, aluminium butt section, no markings at all.

Why no butt ring, also seems to be quite a heavy rod for standoff rings, is this most likely a heavy quiver rod for barbel or tench, and whoever assembled it just didn’t bother with a butt ring?

Anyway, nice old school rods, planning to use them for mullet. Might replace the rings at some point.

A LOT of vintage fishing bobbers, would love any valuation advice

Hey! THANKS to everyone in advance!

I'm here to share these since y'all might find them cool and would also appreciate some help / advice about values, if possible!

My father was a big fishing fan and bought some of these at auctions a few years back, metro Detroit area. He recently passed and I'm curious if anyone knows anything about some of these specific bobbers. I did some research and checked some comps, some of these seem quite a bit more elaborate than most of the comps I was finding on eBay. And I was finding some go for $15 ish then others (slightly more elaborate muskie ones) going for $100 sometimes.

Are any of these worth a lot? Worth setting to the side and selling individually? Any tips on selling them?

My plan was to bulk a number of similar ones together and try to make lots that are at the very very least $50+ worth of stuff and sell on eBay.

I'll sell more expensive stuff individually, but want to group the cheaper ones since I have a million things to sell

My grandpa’s fly rod I’ve been using for a few years

I’m not sure when it’s from, but it’s a great little rod. Looks very well made, and the lettering looks hand done. Wondering about the age and value. Thanks!

Just found this relic in the attic

Cleaning the attic and stumbled across a perfecta 600 reel. Cleaned it and greased it. I think its pretty nice. Thinking of testing it out sometime.
