We are planning to travel to GOA for our baby first birthday in 1 st week of September. It will be just the 3 of us . Looking for stay recommendations and activities that we can do with our baby that he will enjoy. Just a peaceful calm stay and lots of nature . Please share your recommendations and ideas.
My little one turns 1 in September . I do not want to host a birthday party as it makes no sense to me to host a big birthday celebration . Looking for some ideas like staycation with some baby friendly activities or other ideas if you have in mind. We are open to flight travel with minimum travel distance from Delhi.
For context , i have a nearly 10 month old who is on 3 solid meals and a fruit . He is exclusively breast fed.My paediatrician advised 2 to 3 hour gap between milk and solids. However in this approach either milk is skipped or solids are skipped during the day . If the gap is less he tends to eat less solids or vomit a bit . He is growing good on scale and have seemed to not ask for milk during day time. Night time he feeds every 3 to 4 hours. Was wondering is it normal for babies to drop daytime feeds or should i offer even if he doesn’t demand?
My baby is nearing 10
Months in next 7 days. Since last 14 days his night sleep is terrible. He wakes up after 1 hour screaming and is very hard to settle though settles under 15 minutes but screams a lot. Earlier he used to wakeup for dream feed 2 times a night around 11:00 pm and then 3 or 4:00 am . But lately from 14 days he has been screaming every hour need to be picked up and he arches and wails and settles down with active rocking and sushing and breast feeding..
He is undergoing separation anxiety where he only wants to be held by me ( mother), especially wont go down to sleep with anyone else and wont be soothed by anyone at night other than me. I have been staying with my mother from last few days she tries to settle him but at night he wont settle with her instead will get more mad. Even when i try to settle him its difficult but eventually he settles but for other caregivers it’s a multifold screaming.
He is cut two teeth and is crawling, pulling to stand ,cruises along the furniture is very active during the day.
His schedule is as follows
Wakeup : 6:00/6:30 am
Nap 1 : 9:00/ am to 10:30/11:00am
Nap 2 : 2:00/2:30 to approx 3:45 am
Bedtime : between 8:30 to 9:00 pm
His wake windows are roughly 2:45/3/5
I have tried shorter wake windows , longer wake windows but nothing seems to help. We cosleep , though he sleeps alone for daytime naps i do need to rescue naps but he doesnt scream during the day and night time i put him to bed while i do my chores, but he ends up waking screaming and i have to rush to him, settle him down and the cycle repeats every few hours of him waking up screaming. If i breastfeed him
Immediately he settles asap and drifts off to sleep immediately.
Don’t know if its schedule issue or developmental.
