Not trying to be negative, just curious

My brother was telling me 4-1 teams have a 70% chance of making the playoffs.

I feel like even if we were 7-1 I’d still feel iffy about us making the playoffs lol.

What would have to happen to make you feel like we actually had a chance at the post season?

I’m the #1 ranked nidalee player on league classic AMA.

I know classic ranking is a joke, but I was pretty pumped after not playing for almost a decade to hit Diamond with a 70% WR (will get legendary if I get more time to play, I have a wife and kids)

I’ve only played solo also, not team stacking.

I was challenger from Season 3-6 and high mmr (2200) in the earl seasons.

If you got any classic questions, I play her in mid/jungle/support.

Summoner Spotlight: The Ghost Smite Support

This late night menace (plays between midnight and 4am Central time) runs ghost smite as support/bot player.

In his words -

Flash is overpowered so he chooses not to use it.

Smite is because he doesn’t trust his jungler on objectives.

Doesn’t 5 man and has a 76% win rate lol.

So this game mode is gonna die…

So Phreak outright comes out and says “sorry high elo, premade 5 are going to statistically have a massive advantage and because I don’t have an answer I’m going to give up for now.”

https://youtu.be/MC0hzSndOUU?is=Hy0B7xQHKCCmEYXS

7:00 time stamp

Here’s how it’s going to go because the higher elo community mostly shares the same sentiment.

Top premade gonna destroy higher mmr solo/duo players.

Solo duo/players will quit due to unfair matchmaking.

Top premades quit because they are bored of sitting in que for 45 minutes.

Now repeat this as people replace them as the new high elo players.

I love this gamemode and want to see it thrive.

For the love of god, make it solo/duo que ranked for the whole mode. It’s the only way man, if someone has a better option please let me know.

This is exactly why I quit in season 6. Dynamic que ruined the experience not just for us in high mmr but make an experience that feels unrewarding.

This thing feels like it’s on a clock that’s ticking fast on the shelf life. Can we not avoid this?

I’ve been positive about Classic up until last night

I’ve been trying to climb to Legend.

Up until last week, the climb was relatively simple as a solo player. I got to Diamond 1 with relative ease and a 72% win rate.

Over the last week, I’ve dropped to Diamond 3 on a 14-game losing streak, lol.

So, did I become shit at the game overnight? No, I don’t believe so.

I’ve run into three premade teams on repeat: sheeni, shobbi, and Avril; Radiohead, Instau, Sorro, and 7 5 Ash; and then MeCarlos and Melody Song.

All of these guys are at least D1 in solo queue and Master, Grandmaster, or Challenger when playing as premade 5-stacks in flex Que (shown in the photo above).

I’m going to do a deeper dive into all the legends accounts when I have more time to get real data.

Also most of these accounts are lvl 30-50s telling me they are Smurfs so I’m not even sure what their real accounts would be.

There’s absolutely zero chance of beating these guys consistently without grabbing four friends and playing together. They play every single day, and no bans can get around their strategies.

Take ban selection: Do you ban Avril’s Janna or Elementz’s Kayle? Well, then you just left Fiora and Graves open for Sheeni. Good fucking luck when I’ve got a Gold top laner soloing on an island against a Grandmaster playing Fiora or Jax.

Then their pick combos are filthy with Kayle sup/Kogmaw, funnel strategies with Lulu mid and Yi.

There’s not enough bans to eliminate the strategies or one tricks in the solo environment.

If I want to play the game and win, I now have to choose between creating a premade team to play with every night in a niche game mode like these guys, or smurfing and ruining the game for others.

Please make it solo/duo queue after Diamond, or something along those lines. There’s no way everyone in Diamond and above should have to maintain a 70% win rate just to climb.

I’m not shitting on these guys as they are taking advantage of what it takes to climb, but like, I’m a business owner, father and husband. I get to play 2 games at most a day. I’d rather not get shit on when I try to enjoy the game, as I don’t have time to make a premade 5 team and practice with them every day and coordinate around everyone’s schedules.

Feel like I’m getting pushed out and I either need to Smurf to have fun or simply just move to modern.

It's kinda dope it's a smaller community right now.

I know, I really want the game to thrive and be profitable for Riot so it doesn't die.

But I keep seeing posts and comments about others in the game in the higher elo and I see all of them all the time.

We're gonna have some sick lore on the first legends and season 1 of classic if people make content.

We got some fuckin dawgs in legend elo like the #9581 gang, and known trolls like Jehgrens playing feral flare jungle GP.

If the community actually starts creating content and developing an identity, it would help build the player base and keep the game mode going. We should take advantage of it.

I'm gonna start making content again, (Not gonna self promote on the post, it's not the point) but this is a real opportunity for newbie streamers and youtubers if y'all would start seeing what's going on in the higher elos and being creative with builds and strategies.

The top 100 players in Classic starts in platinum.

According to Vilemaw there’s less than 100 players in diamond and legend rank. Which tells me there’s obviously a very low player pool. I see the same people in every single game in diamond elo in the time that I play (Jehgrens please stop playing GP feral flare jungle.)

Adding ranked will do nothing to help your Que times when diamond plus only has 100 players in North America server.

Or do you guys think adding ranked will bring more people?

Idk why yall are mad about trinkets being included.

None of you use them anyways.

I’m having a blast, and small changes improvements to the game are welcome. Small note: patches are good, game would get real freaking stale if the same 10 champs are picked over and over.

I’ve seen enough

Taylen green is the obvious QB choice.

Go Triple option in the wishbone and because no teams play against it we may squeak out a win or two.

Old League of Legends player- Thoughts on Classic

Hello everyone,

I’m an old high elo nidalee one trick. I started playing the game when I was young in 2009/2010 outside of 10 games a year with a few friends, I haven’t consistently played since season 6.

I’m older now, and I haven’t played the game in probably 10 years. As a reddit user I saw the launch coming and decided I wanna see if I’m still decent at the game. I quit because it got to difficult to stay good. Between work and life, having kids ect, i didn’t have the time to stay high elo. Then every year progressed and i would hop on with some buddies and you have champions flying all over the fucking map. I remember playing a game a few years ago and Kayn was literally flying through the walls at Mach 3 speed and one shot me. I genuinely like old and new league, I’m just can’t devote the time to being good in modern league where you have to be on 40mg of adderall to be able to keep up.

I think league classic will allow us older league players to have skill expression while also not needing to read 500 pages of patch notes to know what the 37 passives are in a champion. It feels good seeing point and click abilities and single passives again.

Anyone else in the same boat where you feel that the modern version of the game just passed you by?

Man if they add more champs

I don’t see why anyone would play retail league over classic.

Just played a banger 55 minute down to the wire game where we came back down 22 kills after our adc was gone the first 18 mins of the game.

I dominated my lane and it made all the difference, it felt like winning lane actually meant something.

The game feels so much better with less champions flying all over the map at fucking hyper speed. And best of all I got to play the old nidalee.

I’ve played like 16 games and each one has felt great. Big props to the dev team. Add all the champions up to 2014 and everyone will switch over.

There could be improvements…

But this shit is fun.

I was a Challenger Nidalee one trick. Tbh, I didn’t play much after her rework and pretty much not at all since Season 6/7, outside of 10-15 games a year with my friends who used to play.

She’s still not as good as she used to be, but at least I can throw missiles again. The game mode still leaves a lot to be desired and hopefully is less of a hodgepodge of seasons. But this game mode is really fun on the PBE, and I may actually start playing again (when my wife and kids will let me). I think this could actually bring back quite a few OG players if they bring back more champions and get rid of the catch up XP.

For everyone who’s played on PBE is anyone else having fun or am I an outlier here? Cause every post I see is shitting on the game mode lol.

Why doesn’t Riot just publish a list of everything they’re considering adding or removing and let the community vote on it?

They don’t even have to think. Just do what the players want.

Nobody wants catch up XP in Classic mode. A lot of Season 4 junglers quit the game because of this shit (myself included).

Seriously, just let us tell you what we want, and I promise a lot of us will come back.

We want snowballing. We want individual skill to shine. We want the unbalanced bullshit and off meta builds.

Don’t fuck this up, Riot.

I’m just glad nidalee will be back.

Sermorelin: Is oral even worth the time?

My doctor prescribed it, just wondering if the oral will be a waste of time.

Is the oral application of the peptide, significantly less effective than the injection. And if so, does anyone have any positive testimonies from it?

I'm old and trying to use AI

Why does it seem when I look up youtube videos, that the paid subscriptions for personal use gemini has a lot more features then my paid premium subscription on my workspace account? Like I see people have folders and other items my workspace account doesn't have or access to agents.

About 80% of my life is work, so I use my workspace account significantly more, would it be better to operate out of my personal account and by the ultra?

It's so damn hard to find information that is easily readable to common folk who don't have coding experience and you have to hunt down all the information, and with all the name change with Vertex ect, it's very hard to keep track of all of it.

Can anyone break this down in laymans terms? I've already tried to have gemini explain it to me and even it can't keep up with all the changes google is making.
