Forza horizon 6 settings help

Hi

I’m fairly new to pc gaming, well I say new I got my pc early 2025 but only used it for flight simulator.
I’m starting to play more games on it and just started playing horizon 6.
I’ve checked out settings videos and stuff on here. It seems to run well, I’ve got a mix of high/ultra settings.

There is one setting I’m confused about and that’s the FPS setting in horizon 6, currently it’s on 60fps.

Should I match this to what my tv/monitor is capable of?
It’s an lg g6 oled (2026)

In windows it’s also set to 120hz in display settings.

But if a dumb question maybe! But some of this stuff confuses me!

Thank you

Issue with 5ghz on lg oled

Hi

Have a strange issue I can’t work out. My LG C4 has always preferred 2.4ghz WiFi for nearly 2 years of ownership, despite being only a metre away from the max 7.
The other day all streaming apps suddenly became extremely slow to load content, I checked the eero app and noticed the C4 was connected to 5ghz WiFi.

I have other devices close and further away that connect perfectly over 5ghz and 2.4ghz WiFi.

I tried rebooting the Max 7 and even reset the LG C4.

It seems more like an issue with the tv, but I’m just wondering if there is anything I can try?

I have connected via network cable currently which obviously solves the issue 😂, but preferably I would like to go back to WiFi as I can’t easily hide the cable, and WiFi has always been rock solid until yesterday.

Does anyone have any ideas what could be the issue?

G6 SDR brightness

Since owning the G6, one of the things I’m impressed with is how much better SDR content looks, especially the brightness and specular highlights in content.

I watch in filmmaker mode and I can have pixel brightness around 8 and it still looks bright, if I had it this low on my previous CX It would have looked really dim.

Anyone know what setting is 100nits in SDR content? Not going for creative intent here, just curious.

Also what pixel brightness setting do you g6 owners go for in SDR content?

Connection type

With the new app update a few things have changed, under “about system” it now shows connection type, my arc ultra says: WiFi
And my sub gen 3 says connection type: home theatre 2.0 ?

I’ve not got any surrounds just the soundbar and sub.

Why does it say home theatre 2.0 as connection type?

Anyone else noticed this.

Watering pots

Hi

Just curious how often do people water their potted plants, I do it almost daily, but sometimes I wonder if I water too much.
I have one of them moisture prongs to check dryness.

Some plants hold water better and some seem to be dry the following day after a good watering.

Just wondered how you lot go about it, especially in hot dry spells.

Thanks

Pixel Refresh question

Hi

Just got a G6, and wondering if you can tell when the pixel refresh runs?

I had a CX before and seem to remember that when I turned the TV off after a while it would not make a click sound straight away, after a while of being off I would hear a slight click noise, which I gathered meant it had completed the refresh.

Is it similar on G5/G6?
