Bald's visit to Zvornik

Bald's visit to Zvornik

We know about Bald and his jolly approach to traveling post communist regions, but I would say his visit to Zvornik didn't quite scratched the itch I was hoping for.

The area surrounding Zvornik is known for its high density of mass graves and the many mass killings that took place in this area.

I have understood that the locals aren't exactly keen to talk about the past either, because they already have been too bored with it on a regular basis.

However, the areas of Zvornik, Bratunac, Banja Luka, Potocari, Srebrenca, Omarska, Prijedor, among others, asside from their stunning beauty are all worth the investigation for what has happened over there.

I mean, visiting these places of atrocious significance is practically imperative to his style and channel. It fits his whole modus operandi perfectly. If there is one person who can pull that off and effortlessly hook an audience, it is him.

Imagine Bald going to the exact same spot in Hotel Fontana where Mladić insulted Karremans, or the place where the men were separated from their families in Potocari.

Hiking the same trail thousands of families did when fleeing from being murdered.

Or the Susica camp near Vlasenica, where a commander told detainees he was *'the God, the stick, and the law'* and where families were separated and packed into hangars on bare concrete, etc.

Currently, he only scavanged a bit around the border area and that was about it, which I have found off-putting

Here is some info on the scale of the atrocities

Circumcision without strict medical necessity amounts to abuse and should be punishable by law

Cutting away healthy tissue without objective justifications from a child who is unable to consent simply amounts to abuse and people who let this happen to their child should be prosecuted.

The child has the right to an open future, free from interference, over which they can decide for themselves, under the banner of the inviolability of bodily integrity and the right to self-determination.

Cutting away healthy, functional tissue from a kid who cannot consent, under the premise of *'prevention'* or *'cultural / religious'* dogma is outdated and strictly unecessary.

Parents should instead teach their kids how to properly clean themselves, use contraceptives and in cases of phimosis, topical cream can be applied.

There is ***no*** reason to mess with the penis of your newborn son in such a permanent and mutilating way, ever.

The same off flavors with both kimchi and wine

Got myself a batch of kimchi hot-sauce and I noticed after six weeks of fermenting that it has this very pungent off-flavor that smacks to me of wet old cardboard clay wet dog but earthier and organic. Very hard to explain.

Sometimes I have exactly the same off-flavor when I ferment red wine, but the process is obviously different for both, but the off-flavor is exactly the same.

My kimchi was put in an airtight glass bottle without head space. I filled a plastic bag with water and placed it on top of my ferment.

I have never noticed the forming of any type of mold or kham, so Idk what to look for.

What gives off this flavor taste?

Any beef tongue recipes?

I don't know if it goes well in rawon or rendang. I have never cooked it, but it needs to be stewed for several hours.

The texture of beef tongue tends to be different from regular beef, hence the question.

Functionality and immersion

How about you were able to hop into the trash truck, press [Y] and do some mindless mini-game where you have to collect trash for money and RP.

But you should also be able to do so with the excavator, the dump truck and the crane at the quarry.

Or the cement truck or the fork lift at the construction site.

Or the ambulance, the police car or fire truck? Or the taxi, city bus or greyhound?

Or the dockloader or the cranes at the dock?

How about every utility vehicle that is in the game, has some type of free-roam mini-game attached to it.

Even more so that when you do thirty or so taxi missions, you will become eligable to purchase the taxi company and only then you will be able to fast travel.

This way, every building that has an interior will have a function.

I mean, V was really was eye candy back in 2013. But the map itself was just a static set-piece without a way to interact with.

Would have been cool to have a fully functional Pier with carnival games like shooting ducks and what not.

How about you steal an Airtug at the airport, hit [X] and move cargo around for some trivial privileges?
