I believe this would have been the North Pedestrian Bridge at West Street (?)

Shot in 4x5 and printed 16x20 for college work around 1984.

Apologies for the uncertainty in location; I never really paid attention to where I was once I got excited for a good shot, and it's been more than forty years...

This was for college photography in the early 1980s. I would load my car with school equipment and just drive down from upstate, with no idea how to navigate Manhattan or even where to go. I'd set up wherever I saw an opportunity; things were more lax back then.

This was shot in 4x5, yielding a nice 16x20 print on Portriga Rapid. On the original print, details as fine as the street sign are nice & sharp.

I wasn't allowed to pour my own milk for years until Mom switched to the 1/2 gallon cartons.

EDIT: This is a full gallon, not the dinky half-pint!

Nine Inch Nails remix

One of my late father's albums is dedicated to "stamp-like" specimens: Easter Seals, margarine stamps, Christmas Seals, etc, mainly from the US but many from The Philippines, Denmark, and other countries. They date to the 1940s.

I'm hanging on to it, but I'm curious if this is noteworthy in the community...the photo shows a typical set of two pages. Thanks!

Telepathy provides an excellent source of media overload, and was first kicked oldskool around 1990 on a Fostex X-30 multitrack cassette recorder, with sampling done through a Casio SK-5, and drums programmed on a Yamaha RY-10.

About ten years later, the video was assembled on an iMac DVD-SE running Avid Videoshop.The video clips were scaffed off a CD-based collection of copyright-free TV outtakes.

Musically, the bed sample is from “Tarkus” by Emerson Lake & Palmer. The audio narration samples are from Star Trek "The Menagerie", and an old film on paranormal phenomena, "Exploring The Unknown", so individual copyrights are the properties of their respective owners.
