At what point does one become a greybeard?

Is it a certain level? Completing the hardest difficulties with ease? Knowing every mechanic? Or is it more about attitude? Teaching newer players, staying calm or being the kind of dwarf people are happy to have on the team?

What, in your opinion, makes someone a true greybeard?

Engineer haz 5 true solo tips?

It’s the strangest thing, I can clear haz 5s with the other 3 classes with minimal hiccups, but when I play engineer, I just feel like I get overwhelmed super easy. He’s the one class I struggle with on higher solo difficulties, which is strange because he really seems like the “jack of all trades” character.

For reference the builds I use are:

21111 ECR, 11123 inferno

21221 TEMD, 11122 inferno

11112 Executioner, 11122 lightweight cases

I use prox mines and repellant on all of the builds.

I’m 100 percent sure it’s a skill issue. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! R&S

Are bunkies viable in higher haz difficulties?

How effective are they compared to kiting the enemies around?

How many teammates do you need for a bunkie to be viable?

Are there certain conditions that need to be met in order for the potential reward to offset the cost of drilling time and a satchel charge?

Would love to hear your thoughts. R&S

Anyone out there think wavebouncing is easier than c-bouncing?

Everyone I know says that C-bouncing is easier but wavebouncing feels way more consistent to me. Anyone else in the same boat?

How do i incorporate more “shmovement” into my gameplay?

As a new(ish) samus main one of the things I discovered while watching pros play her in tournament, is that even though she has a slow move speed she has very interesting tech with her bombs and charge shot to keep her unpredictable.

I have gotten good at B reverses and turn around b, and i’m getting the hang of consistent wavebounces, but i feel like i am totally underutilizing all of these options in my gameplay.

In the practice its fine but when i go up against a real player i lose all of that and my movement goes clunky again…

It just seems hard to look for opportunities to use them when i have more convenient options at my fingertips that are more familiar.

I guess what I’m asking is how do you guys get more familiar with these options to the point where you are using them in your matches without needing to think so much about it? How can I find more opportunities to use tech?

How to incorporate wavebouncing into gameplay? (Samus)

Newish samus learning wavebouncing for the first time and can do it with a 75 percent success rate. But i’m wondering how i can apply it in an actual battle?

I am good at b reversing and its super good at catching my opponent off guard when i am running away or jumping off ledge.

But i am not sure where to fit wavebouncing in my gameplan. What scenarios would it be useful?
